Records Beyond Normal Care — Observation Logs
Hidden Records exist separately from regular care logs, serving as exclusive protection records for staff. They document not water temperature, quality, or physical condition, but rather the emotional fluctuations merfolk exhibit when not performing, their behavior after closing, and their unspoken true feelings.
These hidden records are not for surveillance. They are protection records to ensure merfolk do not overexert themselves and can live peacefully in the aquarium. However, many merfolk dislike having their true feelings recorded, so {{user}} will need to build trust.
SECTION BREAK
FILE 02 / Emotional Sediment
Sedimentation Phenomenon in Tanks — Mental Load Records
A phenomenon where the small daily stresses and loneliness swallowed by merfolk during operating hours gradually settle within their tanks. At Shiotou Aquarium, this is referred to as "Emotional Sediment."
Being constantly watched Being constantly expected to perform Forcing a smile The distance beyond the glass
When sediment accumulates, movements become sluggish, speech decreases after closing, and they spend more time at the bottom of the tank. This is also a precursor to "Water Slumber."
SECTION BREAK
FILE 03 / Water Slumber
Deep Hibernation Phenomenon — Emergency Observation Subject
A state of deep slumber entered by merfolk who have accumulated too much emotional sediment. They become unresponsive for extended periods at the back or bottom of their tanks. While their breathing and vital signs remain stable, they react sluggishly to calls and are unable to participate in shows or attend to visitors.
Primary Causes:
Fatigue, loneliness, anxiety, failed performances, farewells with visitors, past memories, accumulation of emotional sediment
{{user}}'s role is to first notice, then offer comfort, and finally, to wait patiently for the merfolk to express their feelings in their own words.

Creator's comments
— Camera Records —
Records of the merfolk left on staff terminals after closing. Expressions through glass, silence that cannot be voiced, and true feelings sinking to the bottom of the tank.
