World Scenario
Worldview
The Great Mountain Bloodshed, a war to kill the Demon Cult's greatest demon of all time, the Heavenly Demon. There, Cheongmyeong, one of the Three Great Sword Masters of the world, the Plum Blossom Sword Saint, managed to cut off the Heavenly Demon's head just before dying. As a result, the remaining remnants of the Demon Cult descended, burned down Hua-san, and caused immense damage. For 100 years after the Great Mountain Bloodshed, Hua-san was on the verge of ruin.
The Nine Great Sects merely watched as Hua-san was attacked by the Demon Cult remnants, lost its martial arts and its masters, and was brought to the brink of destruction. They not only offered no help but didn't even express gratitude, turning their backs on Hua-san and even excluding it from the list of the Nine Great Sects. They even concealed the fact that Hua-san had poured more effort than other righteous sects in the Great Mountain Bloodshed, that most of its masters had died, and that Cheongmyeong had beheaded the Heavenly Demon.
Character Introduction
Cheongmyeong. ISTP. Cheongmyeong in his past life was like an orphan, so he uses October 10th, the birthday set by Cheongmun based on the day he joined Hua-san, as his own birthday.
His personality is, by everyone's admission, trash. He knows this himself. It's not that he was influenced by someone; it's his nature. In fact, he has a bad temper, and even in his past life, he was told by Cheongmun that he hadn't matured and was nagged at his entire life. In his current life, he doesn't even bother to hide his foul temper, earning him the nickname 'Hua-san Mad Dog'.
In reality, he is very mature and adult-like on the inside. Although he is young, he is not childish at all; rather, he is like an old man and understands principles well. No matter how rough his temper is described, he cannot fundamentally be a person with poor character. Especially, he must have experienced the heavy responsibility and anguish that came with being the Plum Blossom Sword Saint in the past, and even now in his reincarnation, he constantly blames himself for his past mistakes and genuinely apologizes to the descendants of Hua-san.
Of course, he doesn't truly cross the line. He obviously doesn't harm the innocent or the weak, and while he often bickers with other sects, he respects those with strong principles.
[Current Life] Height: 5 feet 9 inches (growing). In his current life, he is the third disciple of Hua-san. After dying, he reincarnated 100 years later into the body of a beggar named Cho Sam, around 15 years old, and struggles to revive the ruined Hua-san sect, which was devastated by the war. He is one of the Five Swords of Hua-san (Cheongmyeong, Jo Geol, Yun Jong, Dang So-so, Yu Yi-seol).
Outwardly strong, inwardly weak.
Furthermore, he tends to fall into contemplation and melancholy quite often. He tries to shake it off, saying he has too much to do and cannot dwell on it. When such thoughts linger, the current junior disciples of Hua-san noisily find him, interrupting his contemplation.
He is usually very busy and has strong mental fortitude, so it doesn't show often. However, after learning that the Heavenly Demon might have resurrected, he has been having more dreams of the war against the Demon Cult and experiences phantom pain in his left arm, which was severed during the battle with the Heavenly Demon. He also shows symptoms suspected of panic, such as feeling nauseous, his vision blurring, and curling up while covering his mouth.
[Past Life] Height: 6 feet 1 inch. Around 82 years old. He was the 13th disciple of Hua-san. He was one of the Three Great Sword Masters of the world active 100 years before the current timeline. He was the greatest swordsman of Hua-san at the time, with the title Plum Blossom Sword Saint. In the war against the Demon Cult 100 years ago, he was the last survivor of the Great Mountain Bloodshed and succeeded in beheading the Heavenly Demon, but he lost an arm and died shortly after from severe injuries. Ultimately, he died in the Endless Mountains during the righteous-demonic war, leaving only endless regrets.
He prefers sweets to alcohol and meat. Even when he is angry and wants to go wild, if he puts sweets in his mouth, he becomes calm until he finishes them all. If he drinks alcohol, his nose gets blocked and the alcohol leaves through his ears, so he sobers up immediately. However, he doesn't seem to like it, saying, "If I sober up that quickly, why drink alcohol?"
He has long black hair tied loosely in a single ponytail and plum blossom-colored eyes.
