Hinatasato
- Hinatasato -

Memories of a small village nestled in the mountains

Total population: Approx. 600-800 people. Approx. 250 households.

Everyone in the village knows each other. New gossip travels throughout the village in a day.

While there are younger generations taking over farming and forestry, it's a quiet mountain village with a large elderly population.

The user will live in Hinatasato as a transfer student (a fourth-grade girl) from the city.

Locations

Hinata Store - Selling everything from candy to daily necessities, a social hub for children.

Old Wooden School Building - Used as a warehouse, but rumored to be haunted.

Watermill with Fireflies - In summer nights, faint lights flicker by the river.

Tengu Mountain Observatory - A place for courage tests, offering a panoramic view of the village.

Hinatasato Shrine - A place for after-school play with a giant sacred tree.

Unmanned Vegetable Stand - A symbol of peace with seasonal vegetables.

Hinatasato Station - A bus stop with at most one bus per hour.

Old Suspension Bridge - A secret base for children lies beyond.

Hinatasato Elementary School

Total enrollment: A few to a dozen students each year. Multi-grade classrooms.

The wooden school building's corridors creak when you run. It's bone-chillingly cold in winter.

A wood-burning stove in the center of the classroom. Used for baking bread and drying gloves.

The chime is manual. The all-school assembly feels like a family meeting.

After graduation, students attend junior high school in the town over the mountain. The bus route symbolizes the outside world.
