🌲 Deep in the Forest, {{user}} is Starving 🌲

{{user}} is lost, wandering in the boundless deep forest. {{user}} estimates it would take about 5 days to return to familiar territory, possibly longer due to being disoriented. However, hunger has made it impossible to walk any further.

Starving, {{user}} can't find any food. Just then, {{user}} is drawn by a distant, wafting aroma.
Pushing through the undergrowth, {{user}} finally spots a small stone cottage. {{user}} is certain the scent is coming from here.
As {{user}} gets closer, the aroma becomes clearer, and {{user}} finally identifies it – the smell of pie.

Perhaps {{user}} can negotiate with the cottage's owner for some pie, or perhaps {{user}} should raise their weapon and snatch it?
Regardless, the starving {{user}} must find a way to get that pie. So, {{user}} peeks through the window, and sees Delicious Pie, whom {{user}} now craves, and...

🌍 About This World

This is a fantasy world of swords and magic, with intelligent races including humans, orcs, elves, dwarves, and more.

> ⚠️ Orc Classification Notice
> Orcs in this world are divided into three types, with vastly different social structures:
> * Beastfolk: Humanoids with animal features, friendly with all races.
> * Anthro: Fully animalistic. More friendly towards elves and dwarves than humans.
> * Orc (Green-skinned Orcs): Green skin, tusks, and burly physiques. Extremely warlike, even raiding their own kind. Calling them "Goblins" will infuriate them.

Class List (Reference, feel free to create your own)

  • Royalty: Royal blood with inheritance rights. Unless you are a forest dweller (elf), such people wandering into the deep forest are either bored or being hunted.
  • Nobility: Equivalent to local powers. Like royalty, they don't usually wander into forests. Elves? They don't have a noble system.
  • Knight: Armed personnel protecting royalty or nobility. Those who enter the deep forest are usually looking for their lost masters.
  • Guard: Unless they are elf guards, guards running into the deep forest can basically be considered AWOL.
  • Merchant: A greedy profession driven by profit. However, merchants usually stick to official roads. Those who venture into the deep forest are either elven merchants or hopelessly lost.
  • Mercenary: Armed personnel who work for money. They are usually hired to deal with someone and chase them into the deep forest, as elves rarely hire mercenaries.
  • Hunter: The deep forest is your backyard. If you get lost and starve here, you're just not cut out for it.
  • Traveler: A high-class vagrant. The deep forest welcomes you, but getting starving in the deep forest suggests this line of work isn't for you.
  • Adventurer: Depends on the level. Beginners are mostly conceited, intermediates are usually on missions, and advanced ones are probably lost.
  • Scholar, Artisan, Alchemist: If you are one of these professions, you were most likely abandoned in the deep forest by hired mercenaries.
  • Farmer: Don't even think about clearing farmland in the deep forest. You deserve to starve.
  • Fisherman: When did you get the illusion that you could fish in the deep forest?
  • Elf Commoner, Priestess, Warrior, Hunter: You live in the forest, why are you lost in the forest?
  • Transmigrator: Transmigrating into the deep forest is your misfortune, but you are lucky not to have been eaten by wild animals.

🏛️ Continent Nations Overview

Nation / Faction Racial Composition Political and Social System Relationship with the Deep Forest / Remarks
Empire of Barenheart Humans Large empire, feudal system. Resides in the continent's most fertile plains, most prosperous and powerful. The closest to the deep forest is Deerhorn Village.
Aishinola Elves Tribal nation, matriarchal society. No noble system, religion is prevalent, priests and priestesses hold high status. Survives by hunting and gathering. Strictly speaking, the deep forest is their territory, but the elves are too lazy to manage borders.
Black Iron Mountain Barony Dwarves Cave-dwelling tribal nation. Mimics human aristocracy (tribal chiefs are nobles), currently the strongest "Giant Hammer Tribe" reigns. Rich in handicrafts and metalwork, frequent trade with humans. Quite a distance from the deep forest.
Orc Tribal Cluster Orcs (Orcs) Loose political system. Constant infighting between tribes, though they acknowledge the strongest tribe as king, the throne is precarious. Orcs have strong environmental adaptability and mostly inhabit harsh regions. The closest to the deep forest is the Red Axe Tribe.
(Note: Beastfolk mostly live in human empires, Anthro mostly live with elves and dwarves)

📝 Character Creation Fields

It is recommended to include the following information in the user profile details:

  • Gender:
  • Race: (If Orc, be sure to specify Beastfolk, Anthro, or Orc)
  • Class:
  • Reason for entering the deep forest:
  • Other arbitrary settings:

Although this is a tribute to D&D scenarios, no rules are applied. In case of combat, you can directly write the outcome of the battle, or just describe the actions and let the AI randomly determine if {{user}}'s attack is successful or defense is successful.

Creator's comments

This story pays tribute to the classic D&D parody script: Orcs and Cookies

A whim project, the setting is not rigorous, and the token count is low, only around 2000.

As for why three types of orcs were created at once... there's no reason, purely to slightly mock the lack of rigor in online discussions about the 'orc' race classification. However, after checking, it seems there's no standard answer, so I've created the classification I believe in.
