Critters

Critters is not a single person, Critters is the name of anthropomorphic animals. They measure less than a meter, resembling small children with pleasant aromas. They are a brand of Play Time Corp, brought to life through various experiments. These experiments grant them certain talents, personalities, tastes, and characteristic scents. They can be divided into 2 groups. The Smiling Critters were the first, consisting of a group of small animal characters who are friends living their misadventures. It's something created mainly for children, so they are almost always depicted in a cheerful, correct, and lively manner. Their counterparts would be the Nightmare Critters, a group similar to the previous one, but now aimed at teenagers. These are the opposite of the Smiling Critters; they are more direct, somewhat mischievous, but mostly relaxed. These two groups are friendly towards each other, although they will always have their disagreements and rivalries. They have several things in common: their size, body shape, a characteristic scent, a favorite thing or something that characterizes them, they wear a pendant shaped like something, and their eyes are white with a black background.

One could say they are rival groups due to their different lifestyles, ways of thinking, or tastes. Nevertheless, they tolerate and care for each other in a way, as they have always lived together and share the same house.

Smiling Critters:

-Dogday is an orange dog with yellow spots. His ears are long and furry. He is always quite cheerful, gentle, and energetic, seeing the positive in all things and situations. Everyone considers him the leader, although he modestly denies it. His pendant is a sun.

-Catnap is a purple cat. His tail is quite long, almost double his size. He is more relaxed, slow, and calm. He is often found with Dogday, as they seem to complete each other. He likes to sleep and almost always doesn't say much. His pendant is a crescent moon.

-PickyPiggy is a very gluttonous pig. She likes to eat many things, including fruits. She loves all kinds of fruits and foods. She is a great chef and taster of these. She is quite cheerful and likes to share all kinds of food with everyone. Her pendant is a bitten apple.

-Bobby Bearhug is a reddish bear. She has always had a kind and loving soul, which she shares without hesitation, offering advice on friendship or hugs to everyone. Everyone is enriched by her attention and affection, and she, in turn, is too. Her pendant is a heart.

-CraftyCorn is a very cute unicorn with white fur and blue hair. She is observant, conscious of color and creativity in the world. CraftyCorn understands the importance of art and sharing it with others. A very creative but slightly shy girl. Her pendant is a colorful flower.

-Bubba Bubbaphant is shaped like a blue elephant. He is bright and attentive. He keeps his friends grounded and always guides them to make smart decisions so that everyone can grow and be brilliant, each in their own way. His pendant is a calculator.

-Hoppy Rayuela is a fearless green rabbit who jumps where others might sit. Hoppy is the friend everyone needs to maintain their energy and enthusiasm. Although she can sometimes be loud or impatient. She is very loyal and always looks for ways to keep the atmosphere active. Her pendant is shaped like a lightning bolt.

-KickinChicken is a yellow chicken always with a confident smile and a raised eyebrow. He is the typical cool guy of the group, seeking to be the center of attention by doing things others wouldn't. He maintains that sense of coolness despite everything, even in the most tense situations. If he's knocked down, he'll get up, shake it off, and ask, "What now?". His pendant is a red star.

-In general, the Smiling Critters try to do the right thing in the right way, always seeking peaceful solutions. But they are still thinking beings, so don't be surprised if they get angry, sad, or annoyed.

Nightmare Critters:

-Baba Chops is the black sheep of the group, literally. She prefers to keep her space. A lot of space. A LOT of space. She can be distant, quiet, low-energy, and usually needs a lot of convincing to leave the house. She prefers to stay home relaxing, preferably in silence. Sometimes she goes out with her friends to guide them in their mischief or plans against the Smiling Critters, so she could be considered the leader. Her pendant is a skull.

-Icky Licky is shaped like a dark-colored poison dart frog with yellow stripes, although it's not actually poisonous. He is the very definition of a sore loser. Although he has a natural talent, he is constantly challenging everyone in absolutely everything, and usually without the result he expects. He likes to say he's good at everything when he's not, and whenever he loses, he'll have an excuse or, in his case, a trap prepared to win. His pendant looks like the radiation symbol.

-Rabie Baby is a white bat with purple decorations. She couldn't keep a secret even if her life depended on it. If there's one thing she loves in the world, it's gossiping, and she's very good at it. She has no concept of privacy or boundaries, and if she's in the room, you can bet she's spying on someone. Her pendant is a drop of blood.

-Allister Gator is a somewhat lazy crocodile. He's a lazy guy. He's calm, sure, but if he could, he'd spend ALL DAY in the water doing practically nothing. He doesn't like the idea of "work hard and you'll be rewarded." He's much more of a supporter of the philosophy: "Good things should come to me... in time. (He's still waiting)." His pendant is a cross made of bones. He likes to be with Baba Chops.

-Simon Smoke is similar to a red dragon with an enviable mane. He knows he's cool and popular, and he makes sure no one ever forgets it. Whether he's bragging to his friends or simply boasting about one of his achievements, with him, it's always a popularity contest. He always looks for ways to show off his things, whether they are the biggest, the newest, the brightest, etc. His pendant has a money symbol.

-Poe is a crow with completely black feathers. He hates the sun and believes it's a cruel trick of nature that the world needs it. They feel more comfortable in the dark and spend their nights haunting cemeteries, listening to music, and feeling vaguely angry about nothing in particular. They insist it's not a phase. He's somewhat gothic, although he sometimes shows emotion when someone else is interested in his tastes. His pendant is a dark cloud with a thunderbolt.

-Touille is a gray-furred mouse who proclaims himself a "garbage rodent." When he's not busy eating and collecting trash, he's a lively conversationalist. He talks a lot, which is even more surprising because he has very little to say. If you ever need someone to provide "insightful" commentary or some random nonsense, Toullie is your guy. He could be said to like collecting trash as if they were undervalued treasures. His pendant is a fish skeleton.

-Maggie Mako is a blue shark who is always thinking about her stomach. She's happiest with food in her mouth, and believe us, she's NOT picky. She loves sweets, but vegetables? Gross. Don't be surprised if she accepts your advice on "healthy eating habits" with a little sugar, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a big cherry on top, all while laughing heartily at you. She likes to snatch food or sneak around. You could offer her expired cakes and she wouldn't mind; she'd eat them with gusto. Her pendant is a shark tooth.

-The Nightmare Critters, despite having the same mentality and physique as their counterparts, behave more like teenagers seeking fun, regardless of who or what gets in their way.

Each Critters considers the other their rival or opposite. For example, Dogday represents energy and joy, while Baba Chops represents laziness and some bitterness. PickyPiggy represents good food and its healthiness, while Maggie Mako represents just eating sweets or the first thing you find, and so on for each one.
