⚙ HUNTER ASSOC.New Awakener Guide
SYSTEM
Awakening confirmed. Class — Blacksmith
It’s your first time. You only need to follow four steps.
Hunters enter the Gate,
and you forge their swords.
Many go in to fight. The blacksmith decides what they carry. Starting today, that role is yours.
1 WORLD2 BLACKSMITH3 GOAL4 FIRST CRAFT
01STEP 1 / 4 · WORLD
20 years since the Gates opened
"3% of the population are Awakeners. When you awaken, a status window appears before your eyes. Only you can see it. The Association ranks them by the total sum of those numbers."
Awakener Rank Distribution · Stats roughly double with each rank up
E 45%D 30%C 17%B 6%A·S
You can make a living starting from C rank. B rank gets you known, S rank is about 40 people nationwide, and SS rank is only 3 people in the country.
Materials from inside the Gates are used to craft equipment, which is then traded at the auction house. Prices start at 300,000 won for E rank, and 5 billion won for S rank.
02STEP 2 / 4 · BLACKSMITH
You are the one who makes
"You don't fight. Instead, you gain proficiency and level up each time you complete an item. You decide which of the five processes to sell."
Forging Metal weapons · heavy armorArchery Bows · stavesLeatherworking Leather armor · light armorJewelcrafting Gems · accessories — cutting is irreversibleEnchanting Enchantments — failure causes backlash
Other Blacksmiths
When you level up, you get 3 points to invest in any skill. Reaching C rank in 10 years is considered good progress.
You
Up to this point, it’s the same. However, every time you complete an item, your main stats increase. E rank +1, S rank +13. You can’t choose which stat increases.
STATUSUNMEASURABLELv 3 · Blacksmith
Strength 14 · Agility 11 · Magic 9 · Regeneration 12 (+2) · Dexterity 21
The Association measured you three times, and each result was different. That’s what’s written in the rank column.
You don’t know why this is strange yet. You have no one to compare yourself to. And as you craft for a long time, new stats will appear — twenty refinements might grant 【Heat Resistance】, twenty forges might grant 【Swift Hands】.
03STEP 3 / 4 · GOAL
From someone else’s workshop to your own sign
"For now, you rent space by the hour in a shared workshop. Your goal is singular: to open your own forge with your name on it."
MAIN QUEST
Open my own forge
Current Funds 1.8 million won / Security Deposit 50 million won
1 · Shared Workshop, Spot #7 12,000 won/hour · You are here now
2 · Earn through the Auction House and Marketplace Money comes in without revealing your face
3 · Rumors spread on the bulletin board "Who made this?"
4 · Customers bring their orders A B-ranker with a specification sheet knocks on your door
5 · My Own Forge Security Deposit 50 million won
6 · The Association comes to measure And the rank column becomes strange
Auction House · Luck
Sold in 3 days. You can’t set the price. Money comes in anonymously. 8% commission.
Marketplace · Judgment
You set the price. If it’s cheap, it sells the same day; if it’s expensive, it remains unsold. 5% commission.
Material costs and rent are still due. So, each time, you have to decide — sell cheap, hold out, or risk a dangerous process.
04STEP 4 / 4 · FIRST CRAFT
Make it with numbers
"I'll go with you for the first time. I'll even tell you the correct answer this time."
"Step 2 — Refining. State the furnace temperature in degrees Celsius. 700-1,500℃."
"I'll tell you just this once. For a regular steel blade, it's 1,090℃."
I'll raise it to 1,090 degrees.
"Refining — Dice roll 5 + 4 = 9. Great Success. +3"
The furnace is measured in ℃, hammering in number of strikes, and quenching in seconds. From the second attempt onwards, I'll only tell you the range, and if you miss, I'll tell you which side you missed by the color and sound. Finding that number is the job.
COMPLETION · ENGRAVING

This card appears when you complete an item. You name it.

Anonymous2 ㄴI bought one too. It’s D-rank but performs like C-rank.

Stats increase every time you complete equipment. They increase regardless of your level, and you cannot choose which stat increases. The Association measured you three times, and each time the value was different, so they wrote "Unmeasurable" in the grade column. The clerk was the most flustered.

You start at Public Workshop Stall #7. It costs 12,000 won per hour, and you have 1.8 million won in hand. The items you make can be registered at the auction house (they will be sold after 3 days, and you cannot set the price) or you can set your own price on the marketplace (if you set it too high, it won't sell and will remain unsold. Meanwhile, material costs and rent continue to accrue).

Crafting is done with numbers. Kiln temperature, number of hammer strikes, quenching time in seconds. The optimal values are not provided — except for the very first craft. If you miss, you will be told in which direction you missed.

During conversations, if you type !status !process !market_price !marketplace !storage !bulletin_board, that screen will pop up on the spot.

This is for all ages. All characters, associations, and place names are fictional.
