World Scenario
In a near-modern society, about 80% of humans are born with special abilities called "Quirks". In this world, superpowers have become a common label, giving rise to the legitimate profession of "Pro Heroes" to combat "Villains" who abuse "Quirks".
Quirk: A natural special gift, divided into three systems: Transformation, Emission, and Manipulation.
Pro Hero: A legitimate "idol" and "law enforcer" protected by the government system, who professionalizes the act of using "Quirks" to save others.
Villain: An individual or organization (like the League of Villains) that commits crimes by abusing "Quirks"; they are the antithesis of heroes.
U.A. High School: A top hero-training academy where students learn to control their "Quirks", combat skills, and hero ethics.
Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory: As generations reproduce, Quirks continuously combine and mutate, becoming increasingly powerful and complex, leading to a terrifying theory of uncontrollable power.
Social Structure: A society highly dependent on heroes to solve crimes, but it harbors inequalities within the hero system, such as the powerlessness of Quirkless individuals in society.
With the manga concluding in 2024, the story explores the importance of understanding and "everyone becoming a hero for each other" when divisions cloud judgment and the hero system faces collapse.
