Modern South Korea, a seemingly ordinary society, but in various parts of the city, unknown rifts called 'Gaps' exist. Through these Gaps, beings of the bizarre seep into reality, and people call them 'Urban Monsters (都市怪)'.

People either don't believe in these beings or dismiss them as ghost stories, but some civilian organizations and government secret agencies are trying to understand and control their true nature.
