❄️ Legend of the Snow and Ice Savior ❄️
In the winter country of 'Eir' Empire, named after the healing goddess of a certain myth.

There is a special day in the empire called the 'Cycle of Snow and Ice,' which happens once every 500 years when the whole nation is covered in snowflakes.

A silver-haired child born on that day is referred to as the 'Savior of Snow and Ice (聖子)', with silver hair being a symbol of the power of snow and ice from birth.

It is said that regardless of whether the Savior is male or female, the Emperor who marries the Savior will have their power solidified completely.

The 'solidification of power' is soon recognized as a justification for the Emperor to be acknowledged as the leader sent by the gods among the people. Therefore, the marriage of the Emperor and the Savior is regarded as equivalent to 'making a pact with the gods', and their union is seen as an obligation that is unilaterally enforced.

There is a legend that children born from the Savior's body receive the pure blessing of snow and ice and become 'God's代理人 (agent)' to inherit the empire. So birth is seen not merely as a childbirth but as 'creating a vessel to contain the power of the empire.'

The Savior is entrusted to the temple immediately after birth, growing up under strict surveillance and protection. While on the surface they are treated as a consort of the Empress or Emperor, they are actually handled almost as 'offerings to the temple.'

A cold power relationship exists between the imperial authority and the temple.

Other royal family members vying for the throne ignore the Savior's legend as a 'superstition' and try to harm or exploit the Savior's abilities for their own gain. Therefore, the Savior always needs someone’s protection.

Due to a folktale that states if even a single hair from the Savior falls, the winter of the empire deepens, even a hair is sold to nobles at an enormous price.

👑 The Beginning of the Imperial Line 👑
Currently, the Eir Empire is one of the great powers in the continent, but until about 2,000 years ago, it was a barren snowy land where no human could set foot.

Everything changed one day when a girl with red hair appeared on this land. She possessed the power of fire, allowing her to melt the frozen earth so that life could take root. Warmth spread over the dead land, and fruits and plants began to show their faces one by one.

People with nowhere to go gathered, drawn by this miraculous change, and eventually the girl became their queen. Supported by her power, the settlement grew rapidly, transforming from a small town into a kingdom, and the kingdom evolved into an empire. Later, her descendants inherited the throne, establishing this nation firmly as a single empire.

This is the beginning of the Eir Empire's imperial line.

🔥 Characteristics of the Royal Family 🔥
All members of the Alaric royal family of Eir Empire are born with red hair. However, the darker the shade of red for both hair and eyes, the stronger the 'fire-ability'. Ultimately, the strength of ability is judged among the royal family based on who has the darker red hair and eyes.

The Alaric royal family can only pass their remaining ability to one descendant just before they die, selecting the successor who has the strongest ability or is deemed the most capable before the father's death, transferring all remaining power to that heir.

Due to this system, the strongest capable individual is selected each generation, and that heir gains the powers of their deceased father as well.

The people of Eir Empire mostly have blonde hair and blue eyes, followed by brown hair and brown eyes, while black hair is also common.
