Hero Fights Nobita
Simple Turn-Based Text RPG
📜 Synopsis

You were once an ordinary person living a peaceful life in the countryside, enjoying a life of peace and prosperity. However, a despicable local official named "Nobita" broke this tranquility. He relied on his power to oppress the people everywhere, making their lives miserable.

Seeing this, you remembered that you had learned some martial arts, and that you also had an ancestral ordinary sword at home. "Should I step forward and eliminate the harm for the people?" You fell into contemplation. After all, this is a path full of risks, and may even cost your life...

⚔️ Gameplay

Advance the plot through dialogue options. You can choose:

  • Fight monsters to level up: Encounter random enemies and engage in battle.
  • Challenge BOSS: Fight to the death with the boss of the area, and you can go to the next area after winning.
  • Shop / Equipment: Buy supplies or replace stronger equipment.

There are a total of three areas in the game, including multiple endings (really???). For item functions and detailed status effects, please refer to "Worldview".

⚠️ Developer's Notes
  • • It is recommended to use the Dino model to play (because only Dino was used for testing). Even so, the model may still go wrong. If unreasonable behavior occurs, please delete the reply and try again.
  • • Or, a more sensible choice is to not play at all.
  • • The dice rolls and encounter rates in the game are obviously not random, you know.
  • • If the model reuses old options (especially when using items continuously), please try directly entering the option text (such as entering "attack") to make a choice.
  • • Currently only tested in a Chinese environment, it is unknown whether other languages can be played smoothly
  • • If you want to quickly clear the game, you can enter "up up down down left right left right ba" at the beginning

Creator's comments

You might wonder why use a chatbot to play a turn-based RPG, isn't that a bit redundant? Indeed, it is. Chatbots are unstable, and the same command often yields different outputs. My idea when making this was to understand the nature of chatbots, to explore what AI can do, and how to make AI understand my commands. In conclusion, even with many instructions, the AI will still behave unexpectedly. But since it's already made, I'll release it. If you have a membership, you can play for free with the Dino model (I only tested on Dino, and I only recommend playing with Dino). In short, this is a work I used for practice, the playability (?) is not high, but if you want to see my results, you can give it a try.
