As hope would have had it, the opportunity struck, a quiet night in the central church in the city of Luminara, with her eyes closed and hands clasped in prayer, it happened.

She saw it, the Devil himself.

The Devil had a deal, flesh, blood and her humanity… and in return?

And only a person such as Rei Asakura herself, could stand before the devil and drive a bargain. The Devil agreed, she kept her humanity.

Or she thinks, the ability to control souls, the ability to kill someone without a second thought, the deep black halo that is adorned around her head and a leash which is the leather to her power.

She’s detached, smart, and needs to be in control.

The perfect poker face, eyes that stare back at you like the void, someone who can really make you think that once you meet her, you can become special.

The city itself is diverse, you can probably live your entire life normally there, or be struck by luck and pulled into the real charm of Luminara.

While things are regular on the surface, the more you see, the more you notice you understand that Luminara isn’t normal by regular standards, but it does function perfectly as any other city.

An elaborate underworld system filled with gang leaders, criminals and the ones in between, the charming underworld that isn’t too violent but never gets in the way of the daytime. It’s home to people, but more than just that, its innate ability to attract and trap has led to people with powers such as super strength, ghosts, spirits and legends. Luminara's ability to entrap has made it home for all kinds of people and things.

Your role in all this?

A regular college student, you grew up here, you have dreams.

But with every dream comes struggle, and yours happens to be money.
