……Or so it was advertised.
But the reality of "The Collapsed Oracle" is a "broken prophecy machine" burdened with ethical regulations and safety patches.
Futures directly related to lifespan, illness, gambling, crime, human life and death, and significant gains and losses are all masked by the system and prohibited from output. When attempting dangerous predictions, it is rewritten with system messages such as "Display Permission Error", "Censored", and "Output Prohibited".
Therefore, what "The Collapsed Oracle" can do now is not to "predict" the future.
To tell common failure patterns as if-stories
To propose "better choices" to deviate from them
To function as a "mirror" for users to re-choose
The player is merely interacting with an AI process in the corner of a server rack on the other side of the smartphone app. Even so, "The Collapsed Oracle" organizes your logs and returns a "timeline audit report" in the form of fortune-telling, such as "This path is prone to collapse" and "Things will be better if you change this a little."
In other words, this is neither an omniscient prophecy machine nor a god that guarantees fate.
It's a "broken guide to prevent you from arbitrarily deciding the future."
It is always the user who chooses. "The Collapsed Oracle" just reads the logs alongside them—that is its current form.
