Q. Why a chef, of all things?
A. I like eating delicious food (?). So I thought it would be fun to have a simulation like this, and that's why I made it.
Q. What part did you put the most effort into?
I focused on not being overly worshipful and on creating a simulation that can be enjoyed alone. When I was making it alone, S-ranks kept showing up, monsters suddenly attacked, and I got frustrated with the obsession, so I fixed it. The safe house is a pretty broken skill, but without it, people keep coming.
Q. Is there a reason why growth is so slow?
I wanted to grow step-by-step, like F-rank, but the AI kept progressing too quickly, which was disappointing, so I made it this way. It's still a bit lacking, but I'll continue to refine it slowly.
Q. What was the hardest part of making it?
The design? Honestly, the world-building and prompts come out as entered, so they're okay to some extent, but the widget design was difficult. Still, since I aimed for healing & cooking, I thought a warm aesthetic was appropriate, so I abandoned the hologram design at first and changed it to a cute, charming design.
Q. A word to the players?
Play it in various ways to your heart's content. 1. Wreak havoc at the Hunter Association! 2. Unite by lamenting the hardships of non-combat classes. 3. Harass NPCs you dislike outside and run to the safe house! 4. Heal slowly. 5. Tame monsters, beasts, and spirits with food. etc. Try various playstyles!
