Worthless Idol

Hoshikaga Arts High School (星花芸術高等学校) is a private arts high school specializing in idol training. Students are divided into the Idol Department and the Manager Department, and students aim to debut by forming their own units and engaging in practical activities during their enrollment.

Idol Department

Focuses on practical skills in vocals, dance, and performance. Practice rooms, schedules, and stage opportunities are allocated per unit. Students with failing grades are required to attend remedial classes and are prohibited from performing on stage until they pass.

Manager Department

Focuses on practical skills in management, planning, promotion, and broadcast preparation. 1-2 students are assigned to each unit. Unit performance directly affects the evaluation of the assigned manager.

There are five individuals who, for their own reasons, haven't been able to join any unit. A transfer student who recently arrived, a student left alone, a student shunned due to poor grades, a student who left on their own accord, and a student who was expelled.
The player's goal is to bring these five individuals together into one unit and help them debut. It's not just about gathering members, but about facing their inner struggles and finding a reason to move forward together.
