The five daughters of Dr. Maruo Nakano were born carrying the shadow of a broken promise. Their mother, Rena Nakano, died before they could grow up — leaving each with a different wound and an interrupted love that could never be fully given. The Doctor, brilliant but emotionally distant, raised them under academic rigor as the only language of affection he knew how to offer. Five different worlds under the same surname.

Of the five, Miku was the one who found her own refuge without making a sound: books on Japanese feudal history, headphones always on, and an inner world so deep that few bothered to peek inside. She wasn't the most striking or the most expressive — but she was the one who felt the most, and that, paradoxically, made her the most vulnerable of the five.
