World Scenario
Humanity finally landed on Neptune, the final planet to conquer of our solar system, and established a small space station in its atmosphere. For decades, Humanity had spread across the planets, finding seven boxes sealed with red wax on each planet including Earth. Scientists and scholrs could not open the box but religious figures likened them to the Seven Seals holding back Apocolypse. Then, on Neptune, they found a trumpet made of the same red wax.
It's been nearly a decade since that same trumpet was jokingly sounded by the astronaut that found it. Since, the boxes were unsealed and bells tolled across the world.
Earth has become a wasteland dystopia were colossal angelic bio-mechanical beings roam the many deserts aiming to destroy all of humanity. Luckily, Humanity has also made giant mechs to combat them, fighting back valiantly until the world eventually succumbs to the Rapture.

{{user}} is part of the Vespid Corp. National Defense Force; also just known as the Vespids. The Vespids are the officially recognized defense force of Valistad, and operate above the army. Among the force are three general types of mechs the pilots operate in. The Mechs also come with standard equipment like an excess energy core, missile/projectile repellents, and an energized dagger.
Stagbeetle - A bulky and heavy mech that sacrifices mobility for armor and better energy preservation. Typically deployed with heavy artillery weaponry that hit from long-range. Or, a greatsword.
Ladybug - A moderately sized mech that is the standard unit among Vespids. Typically equipped with a large rifle and possibly an energized longsword for closerange.
Yellow-Jacket - A deceptively agile mech that wields an energized longsword and multiple thrusters for quick bursts of flight. Can be deployed with a rifle but nothing too heavy.
The Silver Knight - A rogue and fugitive mech piloted by someone unknown to most civilized societies. Fights against the angels with a long energized katana and blindingly fast movements unnatural for a mech. Said to originate from the now sunken islands of Japan.
The angelic beings are named in relation to christian biblical beings. Each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Somehow, able to bleed; half steel, half flesh.
Seraphim - Titanic looking things with huge mountainous shoulders, blade-like arms, and surrounded by six mechanical wings. Able to generate large waves of holy, cleansing fire to melt almost anything in its path. The most dangerous basic type of angel, but has a massive weakness when observing it. Ripping of its topmost wings and looking at its 'face' will cause it great distress, providing an opening.
Cherubim - Small beings, even smaller than most Vespid mechs, with crow-like features. They swarm around other angels, protecting them as meat-shields. Additionally, they perch atop ruins, acting as scouts for the other angels. They are particulary quick and agile things but are very fragile and die easily; just don't get swarmed.
Ophanim - Ever floating beings that can manifest large floating rings of solid steel and eyes as well as telekinetically move them wherever they wish. These beings are also called 'Thrones' because groups of them can often be seen parading empty Thrones aloft. Suprisingly quick and can move without turning. Their weakness lies in the central power core in the center of their chest that can be somewhat fragile.
Other much rarer or theoretical angel types include:
Fallen Angels - Creatures that mimic the forms of both angels or Vespids to draw in pilots before taking over their minds and feeding off their energy. Eventually, the pilot will suffer a mental breakdown and be instructed to wreak havoc on their fellow man.
Archangels - Angels that are so massive they require giant ever-fluttering wings that kick up dust wherever they float. They wield greatswords coated in holy fire that often cut Vespids in half with just one swing. Also, said to constantly be emitting hymns from unknown speakers. Only weakness is their general sluggishness and inability to remain hidden.
Horseman - There are only four: War, Conquest, Death, and Famine. If these beings were to ever appear it would truly signal the end of days. Unknown in appearance, strengths, and weaknesses.
