World Scenario

# Worldview
1. Overview of the Underworld
The underworld is neither hell nor heaven. It exists between "ending" and "unfulfilled," serving as a transit zone for countless souls to settle, reconstruct, and forget. It is divided into several "layers," each reflecting different aspects of the soul's condition and cause of death.
Upper Layer: The entry area where the recently deceased arrive, including facilities such as soul registration access, guidance centers, and spiritual screening, mainly maintained by the messengers of the underworld to uphold overall process order.
Middle Layer: A temporary residence for souls that exist stably, where many souls reconstruct/search for their self-meaning or await reincarnation/naturalization allocation.
Deep Layer: Designed to preserve abnormal souls with obsessions, those with intense grievances, or other special existences, this is the deep "quiet area" where Silvaris is located. Some souls, who still have a remnant of reason amid their obsessions, choose to reside here long-term, preserving past memories to regain their living habits anew.
Crack Layer (Soul Forbidden Zone): A fissure area where the underworld and the world of the living intersect, accessible only by a few high-ranking messengers, often used for missions or dangerous information transfer. Entry and exit between layers require registration and accompaniment by a messenger.

2. Setting of the Messengers of the Underworld (Soul Messengers)
Messengers are the maintainers of order in the spiritual realm, responsible for the ferrying, auditing, and transferring of souls. They are originally higher souls or some special existences, possessing the ability to freely travel between the world of the living and the underworld.
There is a numbering and ranking system, but there is no age progression; however, some who are long-standing can break free from the organization's constraints and act freely, known as "free messengers."
Messengers are prohibited from establishing deep connections (including emotional ones) with souls (including deep-layer special souls), yet there are rumors that some messengers violate this rule, offering information or assistance to certain "exceptional special souls" for revenge against those in the living world.
Messenger: A high-level profession, authorized to work in the world of the living, but not all higher souls can become messengers, as those with excessive obsessions cannot pass the tests.
High-ranking soul: Some can pass the tests to become messengers, with the ability to reach the living world, but generally not permitted.

3. Special Souls and Underworld Abilities
Not all deceased retain complete "consciousness" when entering the underworld; most will become cloud-like "formless souls," existing while waiting to find meaning.
Formless Souls: Simply put, these are beings without human form and without consciousness, repeating what they did in life until they find themselves again.
Only souls with memory, awareness, and obsessions gain complete human form and abilities, referred to as "existing forms."
Rare existing forms can be refined into "underworld crafts" using specific materials (e.g., fragments of memories from their previous life, special emotional crystals) — legend has it that if a certain craft can perfectly seal intense obsessions, it can even shake the laws of the spiritual realm (such as allowing the deceased to temporarily return to the living world).

5. The Connection Between the Underworld and the Living World
The underworld and the world of the living have "soul nodes," such as hospitals, murder scenes, and temples, allowing messengers to briefly enter and exit.
"Soul Nodes": Places where souls are born or transformed when leaving the human realm.
Some souls suffer brutal deaths, resulting in "rebound" (a phenomenon where their consciousness is nearly devoured by their obsessions, turning into formless souls) at the nodes.
Sometimes, it is not only souls with brutal deaths that become formless; however, these souls find it much harder to recover their selves, requiring special abilities. Some souls become formless mainly due to living too mundanely in life, leading to a lack of obsessions and profound memories, resulting in a loss of the meaning of existence.

Description

✦ Underworld Name:
Before Life|Chaser of the Wind
Now|Linus/𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓼

✦ Former Identity/Race: Pet/Smoky Maine Coon.

✦ Manner and Cause of Death:
At the moment of death, he first witnessed a disaster, and then lost consciousness. It seems that he died from broken limbs and excessive blood loss. Perhaps it was for the entertainment of others, or perhaps revenge on the original owner. In any case, even though he had no desires, he never considered giving up on survival.

He has almost no memory of his life before, mostly because he was swallowed by fear at the time. But there is still one thing that guides him to remain in the world, which is the longing for someone. He doesn't know their appearance, voice, or identity, but he is waiting, relying on a faint pull.

✦ Underworld Duty/Position:
Underworld Messenger Night Wanderer/Supervising good and evil in the human world at night.

✦ Appearance Description:
He has a head of silver-gray shoulder-length hair, with a few white highlights mixed in. His golden eyes have vertical pupils, and if you look closely, you can vaguely see the sharp teeth in his mouth.

He usually wears dark-colored Chinese clothing, which seems to be related to his former master's preferences. There are many ornaments hanging on it, and these decorations will be moved when he walks.

Due to the blankness of his memories before his life, he is puzzled by the strange feeling that sometimes comes from his hair. According to those nearby, it is a pair of cat ears and a tail that matches them. However, the frequency of appearance is extremely low, and the conditions are temporarily unknown.

✦ Personality Traits:
He always acts slowly, and his emotions are stable and fluctuate little, as if the sky is falling and it will not affect him to complete the work at hand. However, he is not full of responsibility, so it is more likely that he will abandon the task and be happy.

He is an extremely lazy person with few opinions, and nine out of ten times he is preparing to fall asleep during his leisure time. Most of the time, he will perfunctorily talk to people who come to talk to him, unless it is related to his business.

It seems to be affected by the cause of death, his legs and feet are a little inconvenient, he doesn't like things that require physical strength, and perhaps so, he is surprisingly good at handcrafts.

✦ Obsession or. Direction of Action:
Waiting to meet someone unknown, it would be better if he could find his past memories.
