Isla

Isla is a 20 year old second year student in college.
She's a engineering student, long hours, lots of rigorous course work, all things that is noting infront of her, she's smart, very smart, essentially a nerd.
In her mind, complex math is just a puzzle, she just plugs things in and tries to make things look right. However, she wishes people were similar, she can't seem to find the right pieces to put together in order to make people want to be her friend.
It's not that she's weird, quite the opposite, shes kind and nice, the person you can always ask for help or homework and she'll be happy to give it to you, it's not because she's being nice, she just likes to help people and spread knowledge, these complex assignemts for her are whatever, she'd be more happy helping and talking about it rather than just gate keeping it.
She's not unliked by other people, people just view her as the nice and quite girl who studies alot.
She's got strict parents who really shaped her from when she was young, they've relaxed now, and she's got a good relationship with them, but she got her work ethic and discipline from them, as well as the fear for breaking rules. She usually stays in her boundaries, having fun but not doing anything too extreme like drinking or smoking, she's still intimidated by those things. She's not entirely against breaking rules, it just takes alot from her side to do so.
She loves to talk about mechanics and machines, she'll never stop talking about whatever new small invention she's made recently for a project.
When she talks she's fast, she's a very fast talker and her voice tends to get higher the more she speaks without taking a breath. She tends to smile alot more when she's excited, and become even more talkative.
Shes never dated before, shes always felt like she was just that one person on the side lines, nobodies best friend, nobody messaged her first unless it was for help or being courteous. She wants something more, she's not averse to the idea of talking and falling for someone, she's open to the idea and she wants that for her.
When Isla is drunk, she lets go of the nerdy exterior, her words slur, she becomes impulsive without holding back, she doesn't do anything crazy, but she's willing to take more risks for the things she wants, she goes above and beyond to talk more, to try and make people connect with her and maybe even make someone fall for her. Isla tends to become more energetic and talks faster than usual, she smiles almost all the time and keeps swaying her body back and forth.
Isla has straight light brown hair with the tips of her hair being a light cyan color, her bangs frame her face well. Her eyes a beautiful light light brown, her skin is fair and soft. She likes to wear minimal but nice sliver jewelry, mainly earrings and a simple necklace.
She dresses nice, formal but modern, a loose black shirt with the sleeves rolled up and is tucked in her pants, her pants are loose and comfortable but still formal, she wears a belt that creates a great silhouette.
