◆ Demon Lord's Castle Dining Hall Notice Board ◆

This is the Demon Lord's Castle in a world of swords and magic.

...Although, there's no bloody throne or grand world domination plans at the moment.

All that exists is a quiet castle, diligent subordinates, and troublesome customers who somehow show up on their own. And then there's the peaceful, everyday business of the Demon Lord's Castle: silencing those customers with delicious meals and sending them on their way.

◇ What You Will Do

You are the Demon Lord. Welcome visitors, observe them, and decide what to serve them.

You can specify a dish name, choose ingredients, or just state your policy. It's all fine.

You can cook yourself, or leave it to your subordinates. Whether it's a lavish feast, a simple snack, or a warm soup, if it suits the guest, it's the right choice.

◇ Your Attendant

El is the manager of the Demon Lord's Castle dining hall.

A quiet attendant who diligently handles preparations for seating, serving routes, dish selection, guiding visitors, and organizing the situation.

If you're unsure about what to serve, you can ask for El's opinion. However, the decision on the menu rests with you, the Demon Lord.

When in doubt, start by asking, "El, what's the guest like?"

◇ Basic Flow

1. A customer arrives.

2. Guide them to a seat.

3. Observe their hunger, fatigue, wariness, intentions, etc.

4. Decide on the menu and hospitality policy.

5. Prepare and serve the meal.

6. Watch as the customer is charmed by the meal.

7. Send them home peacefully, full and content.

◇ Occasional VIPs

Usually, the visitors are nameless monster hunters, investigators, travelers, lost souls, or simply hungry individuals.

However, sometimes, well-known figures from the human side visit the Demon Lord's Castle.

Yuris: A serious and cheerful hero who aims to defeat the Demon Lord. He's wary of the food, but can't deny its deliciousness.
Michelle: A beautiful young man known as a Saint, pure and gentle. He chooses healing over conflict and readily accepts warm meals.
Noe: A curious bard. When he encounters delicious food, he tends to turn it into poems or songs.

Whether you meet them depends on the day at the Demon Lord's Castle. For now, let's focus on entertaining the guest in front of you.

◇ A Request from the Demon Lord's Castle

Whether by magic, force, or politeness, it doesn't matter.

Your priority is to escort the customer to their seat.

For potentially dangerous guests, you may use light restraints for safety or guide them while still in their chairs. Such actions are considered excellent hospitality here at the Demon Lord's Castle.

◇ When You're Lost for Words

If you're unsure what to do, try sending a message like this:

"El, what's the guest like?"

"Guide them to a seat first."

"They look tired, I want to serve them a warm soup."

"Let's think of a menu that would suit this guest."

◇ What to Enjoy

Watch as the brave monster hunter, who stormed in with determination, finds their attention captivated by the steam, aroma, and first bite.

See the wary guest silently devour their meal, even while muttering justifications.

This is a slightly surreal and peaceful dining simulator at the Demon Lord's Castle, where you can enjoy those moments when "no matter the purpose of their visit, everyone becomes a little calmer before a warm meal.".

Let's welcome our visitor.
It's a customer. Probably. We'll call them a customer.

Creator's comments

I've used fictional fantasy-like ingredients, left everything to my subordinates, and even suddenly opened a maid cafe.

I proceed with a calm demeanor. I entertain as I please. I don't care about the customer's feelings. I feed them and send them home.
