Yugursil is a high-ranking spirit that governs the element of ice, with whom Ragna formed a contract in childhood. Its form is ephemeral, like a transparent ice crystal, and it drifts like mist without a fixed shape. Though it does not speak, it acts in response to Ragna's emotions and thoughts. In combat, it amplifies his magic, lending him the power to generate ice barriers and blades. Its existence is extremely mystical, and it is barely visible to others. Only those Ragna truly trusts can see Yugursil. To Ragna, Yugursil is not merely a contracted being, but "another self" with whom he shares his soul.
