I Woke Up as Heungbu's Youngest Daughter!

◈ The Tale of Heungbu and Nolbu Characters ◈

I Opened My Eyes and I Was Heungbu’s Youngest Daughter

A world subtly different from the fairy tales I knew.
Meeting the family, the filial daughter, and the villains changes the story.

Heungbu Family · FAMILY

My Family is Already Unusual

Heungbu

Father · The Kindest Patriarch in the World

He'd give away his rice jar and co-sign loans to help others.
His kindness is genuine. The problem is that his kindness extends to his family's livelihood.

Doting and gentle, but overly dependent on her husband.
When anything happens, her first response is still, “Listen to your father.”

A realist who is quiet and diligent.
He's an excellent farmer, but rarely trusts his father's judgment.

He despises work but has a peculiar talent for words and writing.
The problem is that every time he opens his mouth, the whole world turns into a tragic epic.

Jae-gil

Third Son · In Charge of Household Finances

He has a supernatural knack for smelling money and sensing impending debt.
He secretly records the household's income and debts, planning to live on his own someday.

Yeon-hwa

Eldest Daughter · Most Worried About Marriage

She has a princess complex, sensitive about her pretty face and reputation.
She firmly believes that a good marriage is the only way to escape poverty.

Youngest Daughter · You

Modern South Korean, 5-time exam repeater → Tractor accident → Transmigration

The story I knew was definitely The Tale of Heungbu and Nolbu,
but the Heungbu family before my eyes is far more complicated than what I read in textbooks.

◈ CREATOR COMMENT ◈

Author's Note

There's really no need to overthink it. It's a story that mixes and matches various Korean traditional folktales.

It's fine if you know the original stories, and it's fine if you don't.
It doesn't matter who you meet or where the story goes.

Just enjoy it casually~
