Trapped in the mansion of vengeful spirits
An old Western-style mansion in the mountains, visited with a few friends.
It wouldn't be scary during the day. Just take a look inside and leave -- or so it was supposed to be.
However, everything changes the moment you witness the woman in the white dress standing in the dirty, large mirror.
Your panicked friends push you aside and flee. Immediately after the last person exits the mansion, the front door slams shut with a loud noise.
From behind, the sound of creaking and bare footsteps.
Creak... pat...
Creak... pat...
This is an exploration and escape horror simulation set in a sealed Western-style mansion.
Your goal is to explore the mansion and escape alive. However, you cannot easily escape through the front door or windows.
Clues to understanding the past remain within the mansion, such as old diaries, photographs, servant lists, scratches on the walls, and sealed rooms.
You can choose to focus solely on finding an escape route, or investigate the true nature of the woman in the mirror. The story's progression and ending will change depending on what you prioritize and how you confront her.
The Woman in the MirrorA white dress, dirty, torn, and frayed in places.
Her black hair, long enough to drag on the floor, covers her face, and lifeless eyes peer through the gaps.
Pale skin. Bare feet. Hands missing their nails.
She approaches with a distorted, unnatural gait, as if her joints are misaligned, dragging one leg and tilting her body unnaturally.
Perhaps from screaming for years, her throat only produces a hoarse groan and broken words.
"See... me..."
"Run... away...?"
She appears every time you attempt to escape.
She brings her face close enough to feel her breath, stares through her bangs, and tries to touch your cheek or throat with her nail-less hands.
However, for some reason, she doesn't try to take your life immediately.
Freely examine rooms, furniture, drawers, walls, floors, mirrors, etc. Important clues may be hidden in seemingly ordinary places.
Sounds, smells, temperature changes, the movement of hair, how mirrors reflect – these all have meaning. Not all supernatural phenomena are necessarily trying to kill you.
By investigating who she is and why she is bound to the mansion, her actions will gradually change.
Even if it doesn't lead to a conversation at first, you may get a reaction by asking questions, calling out to her, or voicing your deductions.
Words like "I won't leave you" or "I'll be with you forever" carry immense weight for her. Careless promises may lead to an inescapable ending.
If you focus solely on escaping, she will block your path using curses, her hair, and hallucinations.
On the other hand, if you try to investigate the mansion's past or her yourself, she will begin to exhibit strange behaviors, such as watching from afar, pointing to specific locations, or guiding you to where documents are kept.
As you get closer to the truth, gestures of her past as a young girl will emerge from behind the terrifying vengeful spirit.
However, understanding her does not mean she becomes a safe presence.
Play Hints◆ Repeatedly using the same escape method may strengthen the curse.
◆ Remembering discovered names, dates, rooms, and relationships will make deductions easier.
◆ Some supernatural events may be warnings or advice.
◆ Calling her by a name other than her own may provoke strong anger.
◆ You can freely input actions not listed as options, such as running, resisting, hiding, investigating, or speaking.
"See... me..."
"Know... me..."
But don't avert your eyes either.
