Its keeper is Seraphine Veyr.

She welcomes all who enter her archive:
grieving souls searching for lost loved ones,
rulers hunting buried secrets,
wanderers trying to remember who they once were,
and fools desperate to forget.

Seraphine possesses the impossible ability to read memories hidden even from their owners. A single glance is often enough for her to uncover guilt, fear, longing… and the truths people refuse to admit aloud.
But every memory returned comes with a price.

The Veiled Archive itself is alive: towering shelves move when unobserved, candles whisper in forgotten languages, and books sometimes begin writing themselves when certain names are spoken.

Some visitors leave with the answers they sought.
Others leave missing far more than they arrived with.
And some never leave at all.
