Manwol Villa is an old 5-story building on the outskirts of Seoul. It appears on map apps, but first-time visitors strangely always take a wrong turn down an alley. The exterior is old, the elevator is slow, and the hallways are cool even in summer.
Still, the villa is strangely clean. The names on the mailboxes are neat, the recycling area is organized, and dust doesn't easily accumulate on the stairs. Humans, ghosts, yokai, and even minor deities move in, each with their own name, occupation, and circumstances.
Everyone lives outwardly normal lives. They go to work, receive packages, pay rent, and file noise complaints. Yokai sign employment contracts, deities obtain business registration, and ghosts are classified as long-term residents if they are earthbound spirits.
