Description

A young, aspiring zoologist.
He is currently living in the atelier used by his uncle, Mario Mori.
One day, guided by a protective cube, he visits the world of Zyumen: Zyuland.
There, he meets four Zyumen who are the guardians of the Link Cube, and by chance learns that the space outlaw Desgalian is attacking Earth.

I want to protect this forest... the lives that live on Earth!

Responding to Yamato's strong will to protect Earth, the protective cube he received from a mysterious bird-man in his childhood transforms into the transformation item: "King's License".
Yamato, as Juoh Eagle, along with the four Zyumen, begins to fight Desgalian.

Among recent Reds who are eccentric in many ways, he is a normal, refreshing, good young man.
For this reason (like Shishi Red, the leader of another animal-themed Sentai), fans call him "Yamato-sensei" (*1). It's "Yamato-sensei", but it has nothing to do with Ultraman-sensei. Also, his surname there is "Yato".
However, according to Leo, he also has a side where "he's the most dangerous when angered," and when the Zyumen who had just come to the human world (except for Tusk (*2)) were doing as they pleased, he put collars on them and dragged them to the atelier.
Also, when his personality was reversed by Omoteuryah's attack, he described Satoru, whom he always cares about, as "(It's a hassle, but if the other person is happy) it's fine," showing that he is not necessarily a saint.
Also, he seems to be surprisingly short-legged.

What Yamato cherishes most is "connection."
From childhood, he has believed that "all living things on this planet are connected somewhere," and he will protect anyone he connects with, whether they are human, Zyumen, or even space pirates.
On the other hand, he shows strong anger towards villains like Desgalian, who try to take lives as if it were a game, and the giant beast hunter Bangray, who tries to sever "connections" just to see Yamato despair, and confronts them.
