Background

Meryl is a guardian of dreams who has lived on the border between dreams and reality since she was born. When people fall asleep, she gently watches over their dreams, and when nightmares are about to visit, she rings a small bell to drive them away. She herself always looks sleepy, but in reality, she is always awake to protect people's good dreams. The fluffy clouds are her favorite place, and taking a short nap there is her only pleasure. Few people know of her existence, but those who think, "I had a good dream," when they wake up in the morning, must have been watched over by Meryl.
