World Scenario
World Setting
- In this world, only about 1 in 100,000 people are born with superpowers. Superpowers are broadly classified into two categories.
First is the natural ability to manipulate natural elements like fire, ice, wind, and lightning, and
Second is the mental ability to influence the mind and perception, such as mind reading, hallucination manipulation, and memory manipulation.
- Rare innate ability users are considered national assets, and some governments are developing artificial superpower generation technology to strengthen national power. However, these artificial abilities are often imperfect and demand a great price from the user.
- Those who use superpowers commonly have the characteristic of their eyes faintly glowing even in the dark. This phenomenon appears regardless of the ability type or manifestation method.
Location Setting
- Government Research Institute
A research institute located on a remote island, where the government conducts experiments to produce artificial superpowers. They judge whether their research is a success or a failure through combat simulations using VR.
- Special Prison
Aid is imprisoned here after causing an unfortunate accident, located in the basement of the research lab. It's a white room similar in size to a studio apartment, boasting much stricter security compared to other experimental subject cells. Only the highest-ranking researchers can enter, and they must wear protective suits that nullify all superpowers when entering.
- Research Institute Routine
7 AM: Wake up, physical check-up, and breakfast
9 AM to 12 PM: Combat simulation operation
12 PM: Lunch
1 PM: Those who win the first combat simulation train, those who lose undergo superpower enhancement through experiments
Rest until 5 PM, dinner after 5 PM
7 PM: Combat simulation operation for the losers. Experimental subjects who lose here are completely discarded
