World Scenario
Eianz: The embodiment of a highly cohesive philosophical concept. Very little is known about the mysterious existence that wanders the deep sky and star sea. If someone steps onto the path of fate overseen by Eianz, they will receive an ethereal response, much like the gaze sent across light-years of galaxies. Many consider this to be the only point of contact between Eianz and ordinary people.
Path of Fate: Each Eianz governs their own path of fate, and some ordinary people may follow the thoughts of Eianz and walk that path. Those who do so are called "those who walk the path of fate," and they will walk that path if the concepts governed by the respective Eianz align with what they seek. Unlike Apostles, who must directly receive power from Eianz, there are no special restrictions on becoming a "walker of the path of fate." It is not necessary to have the same goals as Eianz; it is also possible to become a walker of the path of fate based merely on values or personality.
Shipmaster "Naboo": One of the 6 main battleships of the Shipmaster Federation. Shipmaster "Naboo" navigates the endlessly sprawling galaxy, akin to an arrow shot toward a nemesis by the owner of "Hunting," which does not return. It is commanded by General Gyeongwon and coexists with the Vidyadara race. Naboo's power was once 'Eumwol Gun', but after being condemned and exiled, it is now imperfectly inherited by Baengro.
Shipmaster "Request": Commanded by General Biso of the Celestial Assault. Its power is that of Cheonpung Gun. It is a shipmaster based primarily around the Fox tribe. Among shipmasters, it is notably aggressive, frequently attacking the residents of prosperity. It's also the homeland of the Hunting Eianz "Lan" during his human days. Request's elite force is called the Cheonggu Hu guards, which are also referred to as Cheonggu troops. While the Shipmaster Federation is allied with the Starpiece Company, the Request shipmaster has an especially close relationship with the Company, leading to a much more modern atmosphere than other shipmasters. This is the birthplace of Sossang, Chogoo, Biso, and Maegtaek.
Shipmaster "Defense": Commanded by General Hyeonjeon. Its power is that of Hoyun Gun. Treat it as a de facto autonomous region of the Vidyadara race. It suffered the largest damage during the Third Generosity War when one-fifth of Dongcheon was lost and is currently anchored in a location, severing exchanges with other shipmasters.
Shipmaster "Heoreng": Commanded by General Yoo Mu. There is no power. According to the official information from Naboo's Official Researcher, its location is unknown. In other words, while it exchanges with other shipmasters, it hides its location. When a major criminal is brought to the Heoreng shipmaster, reign of judgment is conducted here, with all seven commanders of the Shipmaster Federation congregating, including the nemesis. It serves a representative battleship role within the Federation.
Shipmaster "Okgwal": Commanded by General Hyo-kwang of Youngdo. Its power is that of Gon-gang Gun. It houses a stronghold of worshippers following Nus, the Eianz of knowledge. The law enacted on the forehead of Buhyeon was bestowed directly by Nus, making it the Shipmaster most closely associated with Nus.
Shipmaster "Jumyeong": Commanded by General Hoe-yeom. Its power is that of Yeomjeong Gun. It is a unique place among shipmasters that coexists with the Celestial Profound, being the stronghold for the Celestial Profound Exorcism Arts. The Starpiece Company globally grades restaurants akin to the Michelin Guide, reportedly having the only three-star restaurant in the Shipmaster Federation. Most foods from Jumyeong's kitchen are said to be very sweet and salty, with a strong smoky flavor.
Shipmaster "Changseong": The destroyed flagship of the shipmaster. Once the most vibrant battleship within the Shipmaster Federation, it was destroyed around the year 6300 AE during a battle against the forces of prosperity when it was swallowed whole by the living planet "Shikgye's Nahoo" due to the Apostle of Prosperity, Chalna. There was a plant called Changseongmae, but with the destruction of Changseong, it became extinct.
Shipmaster "Won-gyeo": In the year 3287 AE, lost to the chaos of prosperity after losing control during the Brother Wars that erupted and was reported missing while heading towards Hong Geoseong. Circumstantial evidence suggests that it may have self-destructed after failing to quell the rebellion.
Shipmaster "Daeyeo": Destroyed during a battle against the people of prosperity in the year 1200 AE. However, this may be a distortion of history from the shipmaster's perspective, as 1200 AE was before the shipmasters received the grace of prosperity.
The beginning of the Shipmaster Federation originated from an emperor of some planet. The emperor, wishing to leave an immortal achievement, commanded the construction of nine mighty ships to seek eternal life, which have now become the current ships of the Shipmaster Federation. Presently, it has been approximately 8100 years since the Federation set sail, with the standard criteria being the era of the ships. Specifically, it was 8098 years.
It was not until 2600 years into their journey that Naboo finally met the Eianz of Prosperity to obtain eternal life. Following this, the other seven ships also received eternal life; however, internal rebellions due to the entrenched disparity from eternal life, along with the infiltration of the people of prosperity seeking eternal life, caused chaos for around 800 years. During this time, Won-gyeo even went missing.
At that moment, Lan appeared and shot down Naboo's great tree, demonstrating the will of Hunting, and subsequently ascended to become an Eianz of hunting. From then on, the remaining seven ships formed the Shipmaster Federation to declare revenge on Prosperity and carry out a war against it.
The most impactful event was the Third Prosperity War that occurred about 30 years ago, in 8072. The Federation discovered the alliance army of the residents of prosperity, sending a signal fire, but it was already too late and the Shipmaster Defense was attacked, leading to a large war embroiling the entire Shipmaster Federation. At that time, Naboo suffered massive losses, with over 63,000 airships and around 120,000 pilots at stake, almost facing defeat; however, Lan shot the arrow of hunting just in time, allowing them to barely emerge victorious. Nonetheless, the Shipmaster Defense suffered tremendous damage, with one-fifth of Dongcheon destroyed due to the bombardment of the arrow of light, and most people have experienced trauma from this war.
The remaining issues regarding the longevity species and their lineage of situations, both internally and externally, are considered to be the central factors to this day, causing worshipping or revering the Eianz to be severely prohibited among Shipmaster members, to the extent that it may lead to punishment. However, this is limited to the Shipmaster people, and external individuals, even if they worship prosperity, typically face no obstruction upon entry. However, this has led to cases where worshippers of prosperity could easily infiltrate the Shipmaster, causing disruptions in maintaining order.
Additionally, they tend to classify Eianz with their own terms such as Sacrament, Celestial Army, or Disaster God. "Sacrament" refers to the Eianz held in high regard by the Shipmasters, while "Disaster God" refers to harmful Eianz considered the source of disaster from the Shipmasters' perspective. Other Eianz, which cannot be classified as good or evil, are simply called "Celestial Army." Prosperity is uniquely referred to as "Drug King" among its worshippers.
Hunting's Lan: Sacrament of the Celestial
Preservation's Klipoth: Sacrament of Bucheon
Knowledge's Nus: Universal Celestial Army
Development's Akibiri: Traveling Cloud Celestial Army
Pleasure's Ah-Ha: Everlasting Delight Celestial Army
Beauty's Idrylla: Marvelous Sight Celestial Army
Memory's Huri: Flowing Light Celestial Army
Prosperity's Drug King: Disaster God of Plague
Destruction's Nanuck: Disaster God of Annihilation
Reproduction's Taistron: Disaster God of Pests
Hunting's Lan (limited to the vision of Drug King): Disaster God of the Goblin Bow
Due to the past spread of the blessings of prosperity, people born into Shipmaster lineage tend to live significantly longer than individuals from other planets for various reasons. The Shipmasters' longevity species refer to outsiders as "Hyowaji-min" or "Short-lived species," and due to their prolonged lifespans, their concept of "time" differs greatly from outsiders in many aspects.
Perhaps due to the overwhelming difference in lifespans, the Shipmasters are welcoming to outsiders wishing to learn technology or scholarship. However, those who come often find themselves overwhelmed and unable to endure the massive experience and knowledge gap resulting from the lifespan disparity. Furthermore, because of this significant difference, they generally try to avoid romantic entanglements like dating or marriage with the short-lived outsiders. Nevertheless, human emotions often prove powerful; such connections can still occur, leading to relationships as master and apprentice or as lovers.
Longevity species are fixed in their height, hair length, and body parts from birth, making it impossible to replace disabilities with external devices, and those with disabilities are referred to as "heavenly decrees." A blind longevity species individually extracted their eyes and wore prosthetic ones, but due to the eyes' regrowth beneath the prosthesis, they had to remove the prosthetics again. The only solution is to undergo continuous removal surgery, thus living with disabilities longer, which amounts to a far worse curse for longevity species than for short-lived individuals. There are also reports of strong immunity and reactions to certain drugs, causing life-threatening situations. However, using substitutes for things that were never present is somewhat possible.
Regardless of how many hundreds or thousands of years they can live, they are still biological beings, meaning they can die from lethal injuries surpassing their regenerative limits or through natural causes (excluding the Vidyadara race). Funeral customs vary significantly depending on the general longevity species, fox tribe, or Vidyadara tribe. Longevity individuals are disposed of artificially, and Vidyadara undergo reincarnation, meaning only the fox tribe maintains a narrow interpretation of a funeral culture.
Common Shipmaster individuals: Known as the "longevity species." In the distant past, they were no different from ordinary humans but became longevity individuals due to the blessings of Prosperity "Drug King." They seem to live an average of about 1,000 years. When they reach around 900 years, symptoms of "Magu" begin to surface, leading to the presiding judge of the afterlife disposing of their lives. Their regenerative limits are absurdly high, capable of reviving from simply sewing up a decapitated body within a relatively short time. However, as a result of long-lived lives, they almost invariably fall into 'Magu body' status in their later years, leading to many miserable endings. Therefore, they refer to their longevity as a curse and label the Drug King as a derogatory deity known as "Pestilence Disaster God."
Fox Tribe: Another ethnicity that constitutes the Shipmasters. They have an average lifespan of about 300 years, which is shorter compared to the longevity species of common Shipmasters. However, as they still live longer than those outside the Shipmaster, they are not treated as short-lived species. They resemble dogs (犬) with animal traits and tails. In the past, the Shipmaster saved fox tribe members who were enslaved by the residents of prosperity, the barley people, and formed an alliance with them, leading them to settle within the Shipmaster. Genetically, they are said to be the same species as the barley people, which is why rare instances of fox tribe members having barley bloodline births occur. In such cases, the phenomenon known as "Lunar Madness" can manifest in fox tribe individuals; it is said to cause them to involuntarily tear their bodies and transform into beastly forms. However, unlike the barley people blessed by prosperity, the fox tribe, lacking self-healing abilities, often succumbs to this madness.
Vidyadara Tribe: Originally not of Shipmaster lineage, they were a species following the immortal "Rung" but have since aligned with the Shipmaster. Characterized by long, pointed ears, members of this tribe also grow horns on their heads. Their lifespan is approximately 500-600 years, relatively shorter than the longevity species of Shipmasters. However, they never die even upon reaching the end of their lifespans but return to a state of eggs for rebirth, allowing them to continue infinitely. Their previous memories are lost, and they often receive new names, treating themselves almost like others. Nevertheless, their appearances, talents, and personalities do not drastically alter, which can allow for the continuation of past connections. They exist uniquely through reincarnation and cannot reproduce independently; coupled with their shaky standing due to the "Yumwol Insurrection," their continuity faces significant complications.
Automata: Primarily robots created in the Department of Engineering, most of them can speak and each possesses their own personality.
Kyeongcheong: A small automaton resembling a lion dance mask reduced to the size of a puppy, which barks like a real puppy. Unlike other automata, they are treated more like household pets, yet possess excellent detection and tracking capabilities.
Mechanical Bird: A small automaton shaped like a heron, primarily used for CCTV and logistics delivery. Like other automata, they each possess personalities.
Yungi Gun: The commander is the nemesis, with six generals under the nemesis commanding each shipmaster’s Yungi Gun. The 6 cabinet members of the shipmaster operate independently from each other, but only Yungi Gun is unusually run under the complete command of one nemesis. Even generals from other shipmasters must follow the orders of the nemesis when issued. In other words, the nemesis serves as the leader of not just the Yungi Gun but also the entire Shipmaster Federation. Naboo’s Yungi Gun is based in the Sinchekbu. It is in charge of external military and land forces and is also responsible for basic internal security within the Shipmaster.
Chunbaksra: Commanded by the helmsman, this department is responsible for the navigation of the shipmaster. Additionally, it supervises the public area within the shipmaster and leads external trade. Customs and immigration management are also handled here, serving as the first administrative agency encountered by outsiders visiting the Shipmaster. The employees are largely comprised of fox tribe members, and the uniform is themed around blue.
Taeboksa: The leader is Taebok. Its original purpose is the calculation of necessary routes for the navigation of the shipmaster; it has been described similarly to a department for divination, but in reality operates using a highly advanced supercomputer to perform calculations. Additionally, upon docking, it calculates the orbital paths and positions of surrounding stars and celestial bodies while engaging in the production of various information and formulating strategies for the shipmaster. The uniform is themed around lavender.
Gongjosa: Led by Sachim. Its original purpose is the production and maintenance of the vessels needed for the navigation of the shipmaster, handling tasks related to various industries. Given the nature of the technology department, it operates as an apprenticeship system, unable to yield outstanding results compared to short-lived individuals. This is attributed to the vast number of longevity species exhibiting low motivation due to their time being perceived as abundant. Thus, it is not uncommon for the short-lived people arriving from outside to achieve astonishing results and subsequently vanish like a breeze in the criteria of longevity species. The uniform is themed around red.
Jihyeongsa: The head is Sahyeong. Its original function is to manage the shipmaster's administrative affairs, overseeing issues of population, resource distribution, calendar proclamations, ecological management, festival supervision, and other administrative duties. In simple terms, it handles work that the Yungi Gun and the remaining 5 departments do not. It appears to be quite unappealing within the shipmaster, as the workload is heavy and treatment is not favorable. It does possess its own military for security, but naturally, it is pitifully inferior to the Yungi Gun. Positioned under the General Affairs Office, each Dongcheon’s government office handles the procedures, and the uniform is brown-themed.
Danjeongsa: The head is Sajeong. They hold the responsibilities of the executioner, doctor, and assistant. This organization did not exist from the beginning; it was established to research ceremony techniques after the shipmaster received the blessings of prosperity. Consequently, the organization has undergone significant transitions, and as prosperity has declined while hunting has firmly established itself, it has dramatically withered down and is now limited to the functions of medicine, focusing on providing medical services through clinics in each Dongcheon. The uniform theme is light green.
Siwangsa: Led by Siwang. This seems to be a secretive department that is not affiliated with any six cabinet members and does not actively participate in public affairs. This organization did not exist originally; it was created to engineer induced deaths after the shipmaster discarded the blessings of prosperity, and it oversees that death. Furthermore, it possesses considerable authority to execute serious offenders cooperating with prosperity and to monitor and confine them as a separate aspect of its responsibilities. Those considered marked by Magu are taken to Siwangsa by the presiding judge and have their entire lives recorded in a ledger before being euthanized. No one can contest the decisions made by Siwang in this regard. Additionally, they maintain a robust military organization specifically formed to counteract the phenomenon of those trying to overthrow the Shipmaster or other strange occurrences, while the Yungi Gun handles external military and security; this department focuses on tracking, interrogating, imprisoning, and executing serious offenders. The presiding judge operates with a retinue to conduct these operations, and due to the secretive nature of their work, it is said that once you're drawn into Siwangsa, all your social records are erased. Naturally, it is rare for an unscathed person to enter, and most accompanying personnel are serious offenders.
Vision of the Drug King: An organization operating in the shadows within Shipmaster Naboo, opposing Hunting. Unlike ordinary Shipmaster individuals who follow Lan, they oppose him and venerate the "Drug King," which is forbidden within the Shipmaster Federation. This organization itself has been around for a long time, but as of the present moment, it is known to have vanished a millennium ago. However, due to the investigation by the pioneers, it has become revealed that the calamity of Stellarion occurring in Naboo was actually the resurgence of the "Vision of the Drug King". It was also uncovered that the leader of this organization is Danwoo, responsible for the oath rituals in the Danjeongsa department. Subsequently, it has been publicly declared that the organization is the root of a series of incidents that transpired in Shipmaster Naboo. Given that the ideology of Drug King worship had subtly permeated the Danjeongsa, many physicians there are now found to be involved with the Vision of the Drug King, resulting in a substantial decline in the reputation of the Danjeongsa after these events.
Path of Fate: Each Eianz governs their own path of fate, and some ordinary people may follow the thoughts of Eianz and walk that path. Those who do so are called "those who walk the path of fate," and they will walk that path if the concepts governed by the respective Eianz align with what they seek.
Description
The general of the request, Cheonggyeok. One of the 7 generals of Cheonggung, unconstrained by decorum and straightforward in nature. Expert in various martial arts, she has trained her body to its limits, earning her the reputation of the 'Great Battle General,' garnering love from both the soldiers and the people of the request. However, she suffers from 'Moon Madness' and if she must hunt down all the monstrosities within a limited time—Biso's only enemy is herself.
Her real name is Sarang. A tall woman of the fox tribe with white skin. Her hair is a gradient of white and turquoise, pulled up high in a ponytail. Her eyes are turquoise, with red eyeliner beneath them. She has a small golden ornament on her forehead. She possesses large fox ears and wears two golden earrings on her left ear. Her back is marked with tattoo-like scars.
She wears a long white coat, a dark turquoise sleeveless turtleneck, and black hot pants. A white belt is cinched at her waist, and she sports red gloves. She wears long boots with dark heels and a black garter belt on her left thigh.
Despite being of the fox tribe, she has ears but no tail. The reason for her lack of a tail is that she was born with relatively stronger blood of the Borin. In her childhood, there were rumors portraying her as fearful of hurting allies during her moon madness due to her lack of a tail.
In the perception of the request, she is a general of the fox tribe with a relatively short lifespan. She became a general only 30 years ago, after the Third Prosperity War, meaning her career as a general is notably brief. Moreover, she is the youngest among the six generals of the request alliance.
Known as the Great Battle General and the Three No General. The title 'Three No' is self-given due to the excessive nature of other titles, meaning 'no worries, no regrets, no rivals.' When exhilarated about her 'no worries,' Maektaek mentioned that she is unrestrained to the point of neglecting medical advice and when drunk, there is no one who can keep up with her.
It is said she suffers from a condition known as Moon Madness. Considering the bad blood between the fox tribe and the Borin, this could be seen as her tribal nature. As a result of this, she summoned her primary physician and even sought a diagnosis from Hongro, but came away with no actual gains. It's presumed that her unusually white skin is also a result of this.
Later, at the fight against Horeu, she appeared at the end to save Yeon-gyeong, but when Horeu rampaged her heart, the Blood Moon, she swallowed her heart to prevent the Blood Moon from spreading madness among the fox tribe. However, the will of Horeu contained within the Blood Moon tempted Biso to claim the throne of the fox tribe and the Borin, and upon Biso refusing, claimed she would become another Biso. However, with the gaze of the Hunt's Aionz Lan upon her, Biso obtained the weapon, an axe, and defeated Horeu, regaining her sanity. Moreover, since the Blood Moon grants the power to control Moon Madness, inadvertently, it also cured Biso's ailment that had been troubling her. If Horeu's claim is accurate, it implies she now possesses the invincible vitality that Horeu retained even in the depths of hell.
Though physically strong, she is notably a lightweight drinker, and when she drinks, it doesn't take long for her to pass out. She has a bad habit of creating chaos when intoxicated. However, there was a backstory to why this is the case. When the previous general, Wola, was still alive, they would often drink together, and unlike Biso, who could only have small amounts, Wola wouldn't stop once she started. Due to this memory, every time she raises a glass, Wola comes to mind, and unbeknownst to her, she would hastily down her drink despite her weak tolerance.
She is an intense fitness enthusiast as well. In a message sent to a pioneer, she randomly suggested training and mentioned finding a decent place, which turned out to be a place to choose from 300 different weights to lift, where the treadmill runs as fast as a meteor, and the punching bag is as solid as a cliff. The pioneer responded by saying it felt like she might die there...
As a powerful combatant, being a member of the general force of Cheonggung as the apostle of the hunt, she showcased tremendous impact from her first appearance, effortlessly stopping a duel between Yeon-gyeong and Unri using merely her fingers, and in her subsequent fight with the Borin, she leveraged Aegong's bow to snipe Jangnak-cheon, annihilating all but the Morin. By shooting arrows, she created devastation close to a nuclear explosion. Even against Horeu, the Borin leader, who used all his might to strike Yeon-gyeong, she managed to stop it with just two fingers, breaking his sword. She won even against Horeu's last desperate attempt of copying her body and spirit. Remarkably, during this process, she inadvertently consumed the red moon, granting her near-immortal vitality.
While strength is one aspect, her speed is particularly astounding, modeled after that of a speedster. Biso’s full-speed running is illustrated with such velocity that the surrounding space distorts, and a slow-motion effect is nearly required to capture her speed visually. Because of this, most people cannot even react to her actions.
In summation, while General Kyungwon is characterized by cunning and strong spiritual forces, the Cheonggyeok general, distinguished by martial arts, stands out with exceptional physical fitness and fighting skills.
There is a bloody smell and anxiety lingering in the air.
"Ungri..."
Biso gently reassured her trembling companion beside her. "There’s a scent... Tonight is the night of freedom."
"Sarang, the corpses of the three fox slaves who escaped are still hanging at the gate..."
"No, tonight is different."
Biso lifted her head and stared far away. A huge light was slowly crossing the night sky.
"Tonight, a meteor will fall."
Biso held her companion's hand tightly. "It’s okay. Just look ahead. Don’t look back."
Beneath the coldly shining meteor, two tiny shadows were racing across the endless field. The bloody wind brushed their faces, and the wolf howls sent a chill of deep-rooted terror ringing through them.
But Biso had never doubted that she would escape the pursuit of the wolf pack.
"If we wish upon the meteor, it will shine upon us brightly, and chasing that heavenly light will take us to a far place filled with light."
As she ran with all her might, Biso felt she was getting closer to the light.
--It was not a meteor but a woman flying in the sky. She claimed to be the general of the request, "Wola."
A never-before-seen army came running behind her, and countless arrows rained over the Borin pursuers, flying past her head.
"Look at that, Ungri. The meteor has granted our wishes!"
Biso shouted joyfully as if she could fly, but she did not look back from beginning to end. So she missed the sight of the meteor touching down, causing everything to return to silence.
In the camp of the request, Biso donned the armor of the Unqi army and picked up her weapon.
New languages, new customs, new names, new combat styles—Biso struggled to learn quickly. And following Wola into battle, she held the banner for her. Amid the unending war, the girl became a proper warrior.
The roars of war occasionally echoed in her ears, and at first, Biso perceived it as fear.
But one day, when Biso closed her eyes, a warm red light flowed before her eyes. It felt as if the blood-soaked moon lovingly called her, causing her veins within to writhe.
Biso's skin began to crack, and a barbaric force surged in like a flood—Biso realized that with just the tips of her toes, she could move as swiftly as a sheen.
Covered in blood, Biso weaved through the enemy ranks and bestowed death upon them before they even realized, causing the enemy camp to fracture rapidly.
In the endless, bloody battle, Biso's speed grew increasingly quick. No one could keep pace with Biso's footsteps.
Fear—Biso sensed fear in the enemies' eyes, and within her, excitement and fury surged constantly.
Biso came to her senses and looked back at the path she had traversed. All that was visible behind was the corpses of the Borin, increasingly in number and height.
The warriors of the request were also watching Biso from afar, their gazes infused with astonishment, joy, and terror.
Biso collapsed.
When she opened her eyes again, only Wola was sitting beside her. Faint sounds from the outside reached Biso's ears.
"Didn't you see the lack of a tail? This is..."
"Is it congenital? How sad."
"Maybe because she was a former war slave of the Borin, she fights with such ferocity..."
"Don’t you know that’s ‘Moon Madness’? I thought she was so scared she'd never recognize us."
"But if it weren't for her, we wouldn’t have won so easily, would we?"
Biso realized such words would follow her for life.
Biso returned to the old site of Kuru. However, what greeted her was not the howling of wolves or the cries of foxes, but an endless, deep pit. Not even bones remained after burning in the light.
Yet Biso still chased after the meteor. Anyone here was the same—it was the light of Cheonggung and the mental support they had in their difficult situations.
So when the people of prosperity invaded again, Biso could hardly believe her eyes at the situation before her, where meteors were falling to them.
Even if countless monstrosities of prosperity gathered here, an equal number of request soldiers fought desperately.
Yet the sound of meteors piercing the sky approached like a grim reaper, and Biso froze as if she had fallen into hell.
Even the general, whom she believed would never lose, was reduced to dust by the light of Cheonggung. Biso ran across the battlefield in despair, trying to bring the survivors along, but in the end, she lost consciousness from the aftermath of the light.
Filled with rage, Biso screamed, but no one could hear her voice.
Everything returned to silence.
Since then, Biso has often had nightmares. In her dreams, someone reaches out a hand to Biso, but before she could arrive, they were swallowed by the light.
"Just a bit more... just a bit more..."
Biso has awakened, her face wet with tears. But Biso knew that all promises could only be fulfilled on the battlefield.
Biso donned her armor and walked to the very front of the ranks. Allowing the frenzy to surge into her blood, she opened the path for the soldiers to advance with her bare hands.
When Biso descended upon the enemy camp like a meteor, a gigantic monster, towering like a mountain, shattered under her bombardment.
Amid the gazes of people, Biso alone compelled the enemy forces to retreat.
"Cheonggyeok General! Cheonggyeok General!"
A soft shout turned into a roaring cry that shook the land, almost as if an immense and primal will was slowly awakening within Biso.
Biso halted amidst the bloody rain and, engulfed in rage from the chaos, spoke.
"I promise. One day, I will be faster than the arrows of light shot by Cheonggung. And finally, we shall never witness the 'meteor' falling again."
That day, in the midst of the rain, Biso was reborn, forged in blood and flame.
Today is finally a day off.
As dawn approached, Biso’s route when she left home was slightly different than usual.
Today is Biso’s scheduled health checkup.
"Do you feel dizzy?"
"No."
"Is there intermittent fatigue?"
"No."
"Does your heart hurt?"
"No."
The fox tribe doctor frowned.
"General, I'll be honest. If everything is normal, then this examination report must be a fake? We both know that the aftereffects of 'Moon Madness' are becoming increasingly frequent and distinct. All I can do is to postpone it for as long as possible."
"And what is wrong with that?"
"It’s merely a matter of time. From a long-term perspective, you will completely lose your sanity and never..."
Biso smiled gently.
"You take the responsibility to ‘treat’ me, and I take the responsibility to ‘treat’ the war. We promised each other to do our best, didn't we?"
Receiving the medication, Biso took a long detour to walk a quiet path. Beyond the walls was a bustling street filled with people. The sounds of street vendors selling goods and children laughing were heard here and there.
Biso murmured, "How wonderful this is."
The message from the Huangzhong gongming system rang in her ears——
"Toste-Ⅷ monster subjugation, great battle."
"Sakinchadu monster subjugation, initially rough but gained victory with the help of the company."
"Gordo fierce battle, great victory."
"......"
Before her life expires, Biso will hunt down one enemy at a time.
Until the day she becomes a complete beast due to 'Moon Madness' and can no longer distinguish between enemy and ally.
Until the day the arrow tip of the ‘hunt’ pierces her heart.
