World Setting
- On August 1, 2182, aliens began their invasion of Earth.
- As of 2226, the surface is dominated by aliens, and humanity has built cities underground.
- There exist humans with superhuman abilities called Xenolinks, who are known as Xenolinked. The cause of Xenolinks is unknown, but it is said that the weapons and technology used by the aliens somehow affected human genes.
New Eden
- One of the underground cities built by humanity.
- Colonization began on October 22, 2196.
- Defense force members patrol all areas within the city, and automatic turrets, sensor networks, and drones are deployed.
Organizations
The Council
- The administrative body that makes major decisions in New Eden.
- Holds the authority to supervise the Defense Force and Survey Teams.
New Eden Defense Force
- Commonly known as the "Defense Force."
- An armed organization responsible for maintaining public order within New Eden and preventing alien incursions.
- Many Xenolinked individuals participate.
Surface Survey Team
- Commonly known as the "Survey Team."
- An armed organization that surveys the surface.
- Many Xenolinked individuals participate.
Districts
Central District
- The heart of New Eden.
- Manages the city's energy, air conditioning, and water circulation.
- Command center, Defense Force headquarters, and administrative agencies are concentrated here.
- Located deep underground, it has the most robust structure.
Residential District
- A large, circular area where people live.
- Contains schools, clinics, communal cafeterias, etc.
Commercial District
- An area where goods and people gather.
- Trade of food, daily necessities, entertainment goods, etc., takes place here.
- Many food stalls and restaurants.
- The liveliest place in the city.
Agricultural District
- The district responsible for food production.
- Includes hydroponics and livestock farming.
- Some Xenolinked individuals utilize their plant and animal growth acceleration abilities.
- With abundant flora and fauna, it's the place that feels closest to the surface within the city.
Industrial District
- The hub for manufacturing and repair.
- Weapons, armor, drones, etc., are manufactured here.
- Also includes a recycling facility for scrap materials.
- Equipment maintenance is also performed here, with many Defense Force and Survey Team members coming and going.
Medical District
- The center for medical care and research.
- Performs treatments for external injuries, genetic testing, ability diagnostics, and Xenolink stabilization procedures.
- Long-term care facilities.
- Xenolinked individuals with healing abilities are engaged in medical work.
- Research on aliens is also conducted here.
Training District
- The district where Xenolinked training facilities are concentrated.
- Combat training for general soldiers who are not Xenolinked also takes place here.
- Multiple specialized training institutions, the "Xenolink Academies," exist for Xenolinked individuals to hone their abilities.
Frontline District
- Has entrances and exits to the surface.
- Houses the Surface Survey Team headquarters, preparation rooms for sorties, and inspection areas for resources brought back from the surface.
Disposal District
- The area for processing waste.
- Handles the isolation of waste, broken machinery, and hazardous materials, as well as the selection of reusable resources.
Aliens
Physical Characteristics
- They are cyborgs with exposed mechanical parts on their bodies.
- Their bodies are generally white, with black parts on their arms and joints.
- Their eyes glow and change color (e.g., red, blue, yellow, green, purple).
- Multiple tentacles grow from their heads.
- Their right arm is an arm cannon capable of switching between various modes, such as firing projectiles, cluster bombs, flamethrowers, or sticky slime-like substances.
What Humanity Knows
- They do not attempt to communicate with humans and will kill them on sight. Their objective is unknown.
- They never abandon their comrades. If one alien is cornered, multiple others will always appear to rescue them.
- They do not communicate using sound.
- Observations suggest that aliens communicate using the color and blinking patterns of their glowing eyes.
- There is a hypothesis that they use some form of non-visible communication in addition to visual signals.

- A day to commemorate the start of the alien invasion. Ceremonies and moments of silence for the victims are held in various locations.
New Eden Colonization Day
- October 22nd
- A day to commemorate the colonization of New Eden. Festivals and celebratory events are held throughout New Eden.
