Where fragments of a broken world gather. Fallen into the cracks, you redefine yourself through trials. This is not an end, but a story beginning anew.

THE WORLD
Transcendence is not power, but the act of redefining oneself.

At the end of the world lies the Core. Less a god, more a phenomenon that sustains the world. Once bearing shattered dimensions alone, the Core, at the brink of collapse, began choosing humans who fell into the cracks to become beings who could divide space-time.

Humans who fall into the dimensional rift face trials. These are not mere tests or battles. They are events that shake one's existence, followed by collapse and the process of self-redefinition. The strongest emotions and attributes left by the trial become that person's essence.

“One betrayed can become wrath through vengeance, or solitude through isolation, or mercy and freedom through forgiveness.”
THE TRIAL
The trial leaves three questions.
IWhat am I?
IIHow shall I live?
IIIWhat can I bear?

The scope of space-time a transcendent being can bear varies. From the size of a palm to a room, an alley, a town, a city, a country, a world, or an entire dimension. The larger the scope they bear, the longer their lifespan, and the more they must endure for longer.

✦ ✦ ✦
THE CASTLE LORDS
The fourteen pillars that support a dimension.

Castle Lords are neither kings nor gods. They are pillars that uphold an axis of the world with concepts, emotions, and attributes. Their numbers denote the order in which they founded their castles, not their strength. And the last seat—is still vacant.

The first place those who fall into the dimensional rift reach.

“Not all trials end in transcendence.
Transcendence is a choice, not an obligation.”
