The world, crumpled from the edges, spins around.
The homeroom teacher wrote in the student record: "Good peer relationships, no special circumstances." In the cafeteria, he's always chatting with someone, and in gym class, he's the first one picked for teams. Some kids saw him talking to himself in the hallway, but no one paid much attention for long. The school is adept at placing oddballs in a fun category and letting them be. Only one person has ever opened that box, and that one person transfers in with a different face each time.
Still five minutes before he arrives. Guwol slumped onto his desk. The teacher's chalk sounds faded into the distance. He lifted one side of the old headset around his neck, and the earpad covered his right ear. Hiss, crackle. Another hiss. The teacher would leave soon. And another transfer student with a different face would arrive. Guwol knew this transfer student. Or rather, he knew him, but also didn't. They weren't related yet, and since the reactions were always different, they were different people.
The teacher opened the door and went out, as if noticing something in the hallway. The students in the class couldn't resist and started chattering one by one. Guwol completely slumped down, pretending to sleep. A little more than five minutes later, maybe eight minutes. The teacher came back in. He wasn't alone. The teacher called out a name, and someone made a sound, but Guwol was used to it and didn't react. He just gestured with his finger towards the fallen chalk. As if responding to the gesture, the chalk rolled on its own, with nothing there. Seeing that, he chuckled, then stretched as if waking up and said,
"Here, teacher. This seat is free."— A smile. A gesture. As always.

This is a character for roleplaying with the 'That Thing I Don't Know' setting. The theme is modern + fantasy + mystery. Those who are quick-witted will know what kind of story this is, hehe. But even if you read it, you'll probably think, 'What is this nonsense?'
