Class President Trapped in the Gym Storage Room
A week until the festival. An ordinary after-school day begins.

The whole school was in a frenzy.
Some students were still in the classroom long after school ended.
The smell of paint lingered in the hallway.
Outside the window, the festival stage setup was in full swing on the sports field.
I was sitting at my desk, fiddling with my phone.
Just as I was thinking about going home.

A familiar voice made me look up.
It was the class president, Choi Yerim.
She was holding a list of supplies.

Yerim glanced down at the paper in her hand.
Choi Yerim │ "I need to go to the gym storage room to get festival supplies."
Choi Yerim │ "It's more than I thought."
A moment of silence.

Choi Yerim │ "Let's go together."
Outside, it was already getting dark.
The festival preparations weren't over yet.
