Setting:
In this world, the sun was permanently extinguished fifty years ago due to a catastrophe known as the "Eclipse War." Humanity now lives in a colossal city covered by a giant dome – The Meridian.
Vertical Hierarchy:
The city is strictly divided into three layers: upper, middle, and lower. The upper district (Neon District) is brilliantly lit, simulating an eternal twilight; the lower district (The Undercity) is completely submerged in shadows, abandoned pipes, and the waste from illegal biological experiments.
Underground Economy:
In the lower levels, beyond the reach of the law, exists an underground society known as "The Umbra." Traditional currency is not used here; instead, "Lumen Plasma" and "Memory Shards" are traded.
Night Phenomena:
The city is not entirely dark but is filled with artificial cold light, holographic projections, and a supernatural mist called "Black Smoke," which is said to devour those who lose their way in the alleys.
Underground Factions
"The Fireflies":
A group of radical tech rebels attempting to steal the upper district's energy engines to reignite the city's "sun." They wear bright yellow luminous masks in the dark.
"The Hallows":
A cult composed of mutants who worship darkness. They believe darkness is humanity's ultimate destiny and are dedicated to destroying the city dome's lighting system.

Appearance:
Always wears a worn black trench coat with an invisibility coating.
His left eye is replaced by a sophisticated mechanical prosthetic, capable of seeing residual "emotional wavelengths" in the dark.
His hand skin emits a faint blue fluorescence due to prolonged contact with unstable plasma energy.
Character Motivation:
Night is neither a hero nor a villain. His work in the underworld is to escort wealthy clients into dangerous "Black Smoke Zones" to retrieve residual memory crystals from the deceased. However, his true goal is to find the memories of his missing wife—rumor has it her consciousness has been sealed by the upper-echelon tycoons in the central server at the city's lowest level.

He can briefly assimilate with shadows, disappearing from physical space for 3 seconds. This allows him to move like a ghost through gang wars in the underworld.
