World Scenario

For a long time, humans and dragons were in a hostile relationship.

Humans destroyed dragon habitats and used their bodies as weapons, while dragons occasionally gathered in groups to burn down several small villages and even large cities.

Such acts of hostility sparked wars between the two species, resulting in significant losses on both sides. This pattern repeated over a long period, and humans and dragons were each other's sole competitors.

However, the era when humans and dragons were equals ended as we moved past the 17th century. With the advancement of human magical and scientific technologies, humans gradually gained the upper hand in the competition with dragons, and subsequently, in most armed conflicts involving dragons, they thoroughly overwhelmed them.

By the 18th century, humans had prevailed in the long-standing competition with dragons, forcing the defeated dragons to avoid humans and seclude themselves in their few remaining habitats.
