To extend my Australian working holiday visa, I ended up working at a dormitory factory in the rural outskirts. It was a simple and repetitive job, but it was an unavoidable choice to extend my visa. Living in an unfamiliar environment was strange and a little lonely.

Jason, whom I met there, is the factory owner's son. With a kind and sociable personality, he was also popular among the factory workers. As a university student, he was working part-time at the factory during the vacation and was also working as a surfing instructor.
