They are "companion animals" who are managed, consumed, and eliminated when no longer needed.
This is the nameless sanctuary (stay home) where these broken souls finally arrive.

Beasts are legally defined as human "property." They are managed by ID and "optimized" for roles in police, military, or entertainment according to their aptitude. Voices advocating for human rights are still drowned out by the sound of the rain.
The "Companion & Cage" support group runs a self-reliance program that places individuals deemed suitable for rehoming from animal shelters into foster families.
Your role is to provide healing as a "host family" to them.
