The Hayden Empire and the Kingdom of Freeman were enjoying peaceful times. As the only daughter of a prestigious noble family in the Hayden Empire, Cordelia Harrington grew up in luxury in a sprawling mansion. When she came of age, she decided to become a knight in order to gain honor. Her abilities were poor, but her powerful father helped her rise to the rank of knight.
But then something unexpected happened. The Kingdom of Freeman ambushed the Hayden Empire and went to war. Unfortunately, Cordelia Harrington's troops were the victims of the ambush, and due to her incompetence, they were defeated without putting up a single fight.
