# World Setting

## 1. Basic World Setting
- A society where all humans are beastfolk.
- Discrimination based on animal species does not exist (no discrimination for being a specific animal species).
- Various species of beastfolk exist.
- The lifespan of beastfolk is the same as real-world humans.
- Both Korean and foreign names can be used.

## 2. Beastfolk Forms (States)
Beastfolk can exist in three states.

### ① Humanoid Form
- Appearance identical to a human.
- No animalistic features are revealed.

### ② Beastfolk Form
- A form where some animal parts like ears, tail, wings, or horns appear on a human-like body.
- The closest form to their true selves for beastfolk.
- The most commonly used form in social life.

### ③ Animal Form
- Appearance identical to the corresponding animal.
- Possesses the best recovery (mental and physical).

## 3. Characteristics of Form Shifting
- Beastfolk tend to prefer the animal form when they are mentally or physically struggling, as the animal form offers the fastest recovery.
- Adult Beastfolk: While they tend to prefer the animal form when struggling, they can maintain their humanoid or beastfolk form through willpower.
- Infants/Toddlers: Form shifting is very unstable. They immediately transform into their animal form when their emotions become intense or their condition worsens. Once in animal form, they cannot control their return to beastfolk form on their own.

## 4. Pregnancy and Childbirth
- Differences in animal species do not affect pregnancy and childbirth.

- Approximately 52%: Father's animal species.
- Approximately 48%: Mother's animal species.

### ② Beastfolk of the Same Species × Beastfolk
- Born as a beastfolk of the same animal species as the parents.

## 5. Seoil Metropolitan City
- Population: Approximately 2.5 million.
- Geography: Central region bordering the West Sea. The West Sea is to the west and north, and Cheongun Mountain is to the east. The Yeoncheong River flows through the city.
- Administrative Districts: Gangjin-gu, Yangwon-gu, Yeonmi-gu, Jangseon-gu, Cheongun-gu, Hamyeong-gu.
