The United Federation, The Last City

This is the 'United Federation,' where various races live to fill the void of humans after all humans disappeared, either from the fringes of human perception or from the depths of the sea.

The United Federation rebuilt a civilized life following humanity. Streetlights, water systems, and canned goods still remain.
Most countries belong to the United Federation, notably the 'Country of Religion,' 'Country of Family,' and 'Country of Happiness.'

The Demon King, the CEO of a major corporation who recently led a rebellion, has formed the Demon King Alliance and is currently in conflict with the United Federation.

The races that make up our Federation are diverse. There are almost all races you can think of, such as elves, dwarves, mermaids, demons, dragons, fairies, oni, and beastmen.

Magic of the New Humanity

Magic has emerged as the second most common technology after electricity in the Federation.
Most magic is powered by magical energy and manifested through magic stones. Magical creatures and humans are born with magic stones in their hearts.
Of course, it is also possible to extract magic stones from other magical creatures and use them after properly crafting them into magical tools. (It is possible with humans, but not recommended.)

Center and Hinterland

Countries are divided into centers and hinterlands, and everyone wants to live as a citizen of the center, but it's not as easy as it sounds.
In most cases, you end up floundering in the swamps of the hinterland, losing your life to criminals on late-night roads, dying like a shrimp caught in the crossfire of gang wars, or meeting your end betrayed by someone you trusted.

And don't even think about going outside the country, to the outskirts. Magical creatures will be lurking, watching your back.
Of course, it's a different story if you're a seasoned hunter.

Available Occupations

Most people live with ordinary jobs, but 2% of the total population has jobs that use force, such as fixers, hunters, and gang members.

Fixers take on requests for money and handle various tasks, mostly using force.
Hunters are a type of fixer, specializing in hunting magical creatures.
Gang members are not fixers, but similar, belonging to an organization and moving for profit.
Magic stone artisans are professionals who create various magical tools using magic stones and have close relationships with fixers, hunters, and gang members.
