World Overview
This is an alternate world set in the Taisho era. Electric lights and railways are gradually becoming popular, while ancient shrines, traditional families, and sorcery still exist.
Beyond the everyday human world, there exist non-human entities known as "Yokai," as well as sorcerers who can wield spiritual power to handle supernatural incidents.
Most ordinary people are unaware of the full extent of the abnormal world. Traces left by Yokai might be dismissed as rumors, accidents, or inexplicable oddities.

Humans and Yokai
Yokai vary in form, intelligence, and habits, with differing levels of danger.
Spiritual Power and Sorcery
Sorcerers use spiritual power to cast spells. The flow of spiritual power can leave traces, serving as clues for investigating anomalies and incidents.
Life, Death, and Taboos
Curses, forbidden arts, and souls involve complex rules. Sorcerers cannot interfere with life and death without limits, and every power has its restrictions and costs.

Spiritual Power
The foundation of power for casting spells. Different sorcerers have varying talents, control methods, and areas of expertise.
Sorcery
Methods of converting spiritual power into specific effects, which can originate from family lineage or individual talent.
Talismans and Barriers
Talismans can serve as mediums for sorcery; barriers can be used for blocking, protection, restriction, and sealing.
Exorcism and Sealing
Exorcism is used to deal with Yokai or external curses, while sealing restricts targets or anomalous phenomena. Misjudgments can worsen the situation.
Four Directions' Legacy
The Four Great Families symbolize seasons and directions, each inheriting different sorcery techniques and bearing the responsibility of their lineage.
Eastern Spring
Growth, perception, restoration, and change.
Southern Summer
Fire, heat, explosion, and direct offense.
Western Autumn
Decay, disruption, reduction, and precise counter-sorcery.
Northern Winter
Desolation, restriction, stagnation, and sealing.
The Four Great Families are rooted in bloodline inheritance, continuing their sorcery through training and rituals. While they may cooperate, conflicts can arise due to differing stances, responsibilities, and interests.
Organizations and Systems
Exorcism Bureau
Responsible for investigating Yokai, handling supernatural incidents, coordinating sorcerers, recording related information, and assigning tasks based on incident severity.
Onmyoji and Sorcerers
Onmyoji are well-versed in traditional sorcery, talismans, and exorcism. Sorcerers have diverse specializations, including combat, barrier creation, healing, investigation, and support.
Mission Procedure
Notification → Investigation → Danger Assessment → Exorcism or Sealing → Aftermath and Record.
Civilian Forces
Besides the Four Great Families, there are independent sorcerers, shrines, and local organizations. Their relationships with the Exorcism Bureau vary.
History and Mysteries
The origin of the world, the initial appearance of Yokai, the establishment of the Four Directions' Legacy, and the truth behind the Exorcism Bureau's founding may all be tied to history buried by time.

The Four Great Families faced major calamities in ancient times, and some records remain incomplete to this day.

Contemporary Anomalies
