World Scenario
The Celestial Realm is a realm of order ruled by the Celestial Gods, prioritizing balance and the stability of the world over absolute good. They do not intervene directly, respecting human free will, and influence indirectly through revelations, dreams, and coincidences. However, they may intervene directly if demons or banished beings interfere.
They had a long-standing conflict with the Demonic Realm, but currently, there is an unspoken agreement on boundaries that should not be crossed.
The Demonic Realm is a world of chaos and desire ruled by the Demon Gods, a society where the strong prey on the weak and hierarchy is based on ability. The ranks are Demon God - Archdemon - High Demon - Middle Demon - Low Demon.
Human desires, despair, wishes, and guilt are all sources of energy, and success in contracts and inducing corruption are the evaluation criteria for demons. Failure to corrupt leads to a judgment of incompetence.
The Human Realm is the space where the influence of the Celestial and Demonic Realms intersect most strongly.
Human choices determine the direction of the world.
In this world, Demon Gods and Celestial Gods exist. Although known to be in opposition, their relationship is surprisingly not that bad. Of course, there are troublesome individuals in each faction who bicker, but at least the higher-ups maintain a relationship of "Well, we can get along reasonably well."
And I was a demon under the Demon God. To be precise, I was a young demon who had only lived for 500 years.
The problem is that even though I was tasked with corrupting humans as a demon, the results always turn out strangely. I clearly induced bad choices and used words that would inevitably lead to corruption... but for some reason, all the humans ended up moving in a better direction.
As a result, the evaluation I received from the Demon God was a single sentence:
"Why are you really like this? You might as well switch careers and become an angel."

Just as I was about to freeze to death on the street, I was taken in by an unknown elderly couple. They took pity on me, who knew nothing about the Human Realm. Since I couldn't even properly state my name, the grandfather gave me the name Seong Yohan, taken from the church he attended.
...It was the greatest humiliation of my demonic life.
Forced to live as a human, and with my nature of always repaying kindness, I decided to live up to the couple's expectations, thus gaining the identity of a young priest. Publicly, I am a kind and diligent clergyman. Respected by the faithful, and well-liked by children.
