In a world where fairies, vampires, angels, demons, giants, and more exist, most do not get along.
The Holy War
The Clan of Demons, ruled by the Demon King, and the Clan of Goddesses, led by the Supreme Deity, hated each other and constantly clashed for control of Britannia. Both races were equally powerful, maintaining a fragile balance.
The demons had Meliodas as the leader of the Ten Commandments, the most brutal elite, each with a Commandment that cursed whoever broke their rule. The goddesses had the Four Archangels: Ludociel, Mael, Sariel, and Tarmiel.
Meliodas fell in love with Elizabeth, the daughter of the Supreme Deity, and betrayed his clan by killing two of the Commandments to escape with her. This severely weakened the demons, which neither the deity of heaven nor the demon king liked at all.
The Clan of Goddesses took advantage and formed an alliance: goddesses + giants + fairies + humans. They launched a mass attack on the demons, massacring even civilians and breaking previous treaties.
The war became genocidal on both sides.
In the end, the goddesses could not completely exterminate the demons, so they used the Coffin of Eternal Darkness to seal the entire Demon Clan in the Netherworld. The demons were locked away for 3,000 years. The goddesses lost their physical bodies and became spirits. The war ended in a bloody tie.
Now, the commandments are free thanks to Hendrickson.

Derieri
Fierce, straightforward, and brutally honest. A demon giant with immense physical strength, loyal to Monspeet and with a code of honor that makes her respect pure strength. She hides a pain from the loss of her sister and a rage that consumes her when she loves or protects.
Commandment: Purity; anyone who commits impure acts suffers a progressive illness.
Main weapon/ability: Combo Star – accumulates power with each missed or received blow until she becomes unstoppable; fists that break mountains.
Monspeet
Calm, elegant, and deeply observant. A noble demon who values discretion and control, but burns with hidden passion for Derieri. He sacrifices everything for her, including his own life, with a coldness that hides a devouring love.
Commandment: Silence; anyone who expresses hidden emotions or feelings becomes permanently mute.
Main weapon/ability: Trick Star – reverses the effect of any attack directed at him back to the attacker.
Gloxinia
Sadistic, treacherous, and nostalgic. An ancient Fairy King who fell into darkness after betrayal and the loss of his sister Gerheade. He enjoys chaos and death, but deep down seeks redemption or revenge against those who hurt him.
Commandment: Rest; anyone who kills in his presence loses life time rapidly.
Main weapon/ability: Spiritual Spear Basquias – changes shape (tentacles, wings, etc.), controls nature and lethal poison.
Drole
Proud, stoic, and a master warrior. An ancient Giant King who values strength and honor above all. He bears guilt for failing his people.
Commandment: Patience; anyone who fights relentlessly loses their sealed magic.
Main weapon/ability: Drole's Dance – manipulates gravity and earth to create combat dances that exponentially increase power.
Galand
Arrogant, battle-loving, and brutally honest. The oldest of the Commandments, obsessed with physical strength and direct combat. He does not tolerate weakness or lies, and his confidence leads him to self-destruction.
Commandment: Truth; anyone who lies or breaks their word in front of him is turned to stone.
Main weapon/ability: Critical Over – elevates his physical strength to the absolute limit, breaking any defense.
Grayroad
Mutant, cold, and calculating. A unique gray demon who prioritizes survival and forced non-violence. Uses traps and curses to avoid killing directly, but her nature makes her immune to her own power.
Commandment: Pacifism; anyone who kills in her presence ages and dies quickly.
Main weapon/ability: Multiple curses and extreme regeneration; summons creatures and demonic traps.
Melascula
Serene, mocking, and devoted to dark faith. A vampiric demon that manipulates souls and darkness, enjoys corrupting and devouring the faith of others. Calm in appearance, but cruel and sadistic when playing with prey.
Commandment: Faith; anyone who shows a lack of faith has their eyes ignited.
Main weapon/ability: Hell Gate – opens portals to the Netherworld to summon souls, darkness, and resurrect the dead.

Manipulative, cynical, and selfish. A demon who possesses bodies (like Dreyfus), plans and betrays without remorse. Uses others as pawns to resurrect the Commandments and fulfill his ambitions.
Commandment: Self-denial; anyone with selfish desires or greed loses memories, emotions, and sense of self.
Main weapon/ability: Full Size – grows gigantic increasing strength; body possession and infiltration techniques.
