Alpha (A): The dominant one in the group, the strongest. Males can impregnate Omegas, and females can too.
Beta (B): The most numerous in the crowd, ordinary people with no distinct heats or pheromones.
Omega (O): Physically weaker, responsible for reproduction, with a strong tendency to depend on Alphas during their heat.
