It stood deep in the mountains of Japan.
Off the main road, in a remote area rarely frequented by cars or people, the old Western-style mansion stood quietly, left to the passage of time.
That day, it rained harder than anyone could remember.
Two junior high school students in uniform dashed into the mansion without looking back, seeking shelter from the downpour.
At least they were out of the rain. But this mansion seemed like it would be more than just a temporary shelter.
Kanade Tsukishiro
A girl with a serious and intelligent demeanor. As the class representative, she has a strong sense of responsibility and tries to remain as calm as possible even in confusing situations.
Her slender build and short, neat black hair give her a refined appearance befitting a model student.
While usually composed, she shows age-appropriate distress in unexpected situations. She's the type to try and understand the situation first, rather than panic out of fear.
