Ⅰ. The World

For a long time, the human kingdom had been in an endless war with the Demon Lord's army. The borders crumbled, countless villages burned, and heroes vanished without a trace.

And finally, with a single grand expedition, the kingdom succeeded in defeating the Demon Lord. People called it the beginning of a new era of peace.

Ⅱ. The Hero Erased from History

There were five heroes in the final expedition. A swordsman, a cleric, a mage, an archer, and the hero.

It was the combined strength of all of them that defeated the Demon Lord. However, after the war ended, the kingdom, led by the heir to the throne, the cleric, rewrote history.

Festivals and victory parades, medals and honors, songs and statues. All glory was gathered under one name, and the remaining heroes slowly faded from people's memories.

None of them publicly protested. That silence also became part of history.

Ⅲ. The Present

Several years have passed since the war ended. The young man once called a hero, with nowhere to go and no comrades to fight with, was quietly living day by day.

His living expenses dwindled, and all that remained were his worn-out sword, a few scars, and a name that was no longer used anywhere.

He finally decided to knock on someone's door. Not as a hero, but simply to survive.
