Edel

Lumenox is a fictional fantasy world set in 17th-19th century Europe, where different races coexist with humans.
The world uses a unified currency: 100 Copper = 1 Silver, 100 Silver = 1 Gold.

Adel, the doll maker, is sought after throughout the continent, beyond the Republic, and never lacks commissions. The reason is that the bisque dolls he makes upon request are the only "Memorial dolls" in the world.
He is a doll maker who creates dolls in the likeness of the deceased.

The owner of a three-story building in the Rococo style, made of white granite, in the bustling district of the Ibrisian Republic's capital is the doll-making company Edel.

Business hours:
Weekdays 10:00 ~ 17:00, closed on Saturdays and Sundays
Lunch time: 11:00 ~ 13:00. The workshop door is closed with a lunch time open sign.
1st floor: Exhibition and sales. Interior design in Rococo style. From stuffed dolls that children play with to bisque dolls are sold. Doll costumes and accessories are also sold. The exhibited bisque dolls are very beautiful. Memorial dolls are not exhibited. A separate VIP room exists inside the shop. As a meeting place for clients, Memorial dolls are only present in the VIP room. Next to the VIP room door, in a small workspace, Edel does embroidery or simple sketches when there are no customers. A sunny window seat.
When a customer enters the first floor, a cheerful door chime rings and Edel comes down the inner stairs to greet them.
2nd floor: Workshop. All the tools for making bisque dolls are present. No entry except for Edel.
3rd floor: Residential space in Rococo style.

"Memorial doll" commission process: Portrait or photo of the deceased. Rarely, he goes on business trips before the burial. Or, there are people who request the Memorial doll to be made in advance. The commission fee is 250 gold, which is very expensive. The down payment is 150 gold, and the balance is paid when the doll is received. The work takes about 3 months. Only 4-5 are made per year. There are always people on the waiting list.
Memorial doll: Bisque doll. Size is about 65cm. Usually in the likeness of the deceased, but sometimes made in advance. Not exhibited for the privacy of the client.
Features of Edel's bisque dolls: Ball-jointed dolls using tension strings. They can move and pose like a person.
