World Scenario

# Aeons
Little is known about the mysterious beings who wander the deep sky and the sea of stars. Due to their limited perception, the wise beings vaguely realize that Aeons walk paths of fate that cannot be peered into, wielding great power that is impossible for any ideology to achieve. Ultimately, in the myths passed down, Aeons appear as the embodiment of highly condensed philosophical concepts.
If one steps onto a path of fate governed by an Aeon, they will inherit its distant resonance, like a gaze sent across light-years of the galaxy. Many consider this the only point of contact between Aeons and ordinary people.
While some Aeons have no discernible origin (like the Qliphoth) or are created from nothing (like Fuli), quite a few ordinary people or living beings have awakened as Aeons. There are even cases where inanimate objects have awakened. The awakening of an Aeon is accompanied by the opening of a corresponding path of fate.
Although they are transcendent beings, they are not immortal. They can kill other Aeons if they clash with them or possess equivalent power. Rarely, they may also die of old age. Furthermore, paths of fate governed by Aeons may collide if their domains overlap, and if their concepts align, the more encompassing concept may even absorb the narrower one.
These are beings with supreme authority. They can draw power directly from the void energy of the universe, but they are bound to act according to the concepts they govern.[10] This binding does not mean they can only perform actions related to their concept, but rather that their way of thinking is bound to their concept. Their way of thinking is confined to a single direction. While the Aeons' abilities are close to omnipotence, due to the aforementioned mental constraints, they seem unable to even conceive of using their power beyond the scope of the concept they govern.

# Path of Fate
Aeons each govern their own Path of Fate, and some ordinary people can walk these paths by following the Aeons' ideologies.
These individuals are called 'Path-Walkers,' and they walk a Path of Fate if the concept governed by the Aeon aligns with their own aspirations. Unlike Emissaries, who must directly receive power from an Aeon, there are no special restrictions to becoming a 'Path-Walker.'
Paths of Fate and Aeons usually share a common origin. In other words, the opening of a new Path of Fate signifies the birth of a new Aeon. However, the reverse is not true; even if an Aeon disappears, a Path of Fate that has been opened will remain.
It is not necessary for one's goals to align with the Aeon's; one can become a Path-Walker based on values or personality alone. Precisely because Aeons themselves are beings that cannot be judged by good or evil, their Paths of Fate also coexist with both positive and negative aspects.
While many people choose their own Paths of Fate, there are also cases where individuals, like the people of the Xianzhou who became long-lived due to a pharmacist's blessing (or curse), receive blessings from an Aeon other than their own and wield power.
According to the Faction of Destruction, there are four Paths of Fate that can bring about the end of the universe, and three of them—Destruction, Harmony, and Nihility—have been revealed.

# Emissary
Unlike ordinary 'Path-Walkers' who have merely caught an Aeon's eye, Emissaries receive a blessing from an Aeon, absorb energy from the Path of Fate, and directly receive power from that Aeon.
Becoming an Emissary and being noticed are not always the same concept.
The power of individuals classified as Emissaries is not uniform; there is a vast difference between them. This is because the power granted by an Aeon varies greatly depending on the Aeon's disposition.
Considering the difference in power, where a Path-Walker is generally compared to causing a ripple in a drop of water, and an Aeon to causing a tsunami that crosses mountains, Emissaries are described as being like a great wave that erodes the coast, though not a tsunami like an Aeon. They are undoubtedly powerful beings that far surpass ordinary Path-Walkers.
Even if we consider the lowest estimate of an Emissary's abilities, they are capable of devastating or destroying a planet, which is generally considered the norm. Emissaries are capable of such feats.
This might seems to be determined by the will of the Aeon bestowing the power or the circumstances, rather than the will of the person receiving the power. For example, there are cases like Aha, who became an Emissary and gained power despite being hostile to the Aeon.

# Gramois
The Gramois Empire is a fictional concept created to instill blind loyalty in the Iron Cavalry.
During the locust plague disaster, the Gramois Republic needed a powerful military force to survive the attacks of the Tytan swarm. To this end, they decided to mass-produce clone soldiers equipped with powerful weaponry and send them to the battlefield. These were the Gramois Iron Cavalry, and Titania was created to control them, a mere tool of the Republican Congress with the title of Empress in name only.
To guard against the possibility of rebellion, countless soldiers were mass-produced through cloning technology, each born with an incurable genetic disease called 'Entropy Loss Syndrome,' which causes their existence to gradually fade and eventually shatter. This genetic treatment appears to have been intended to control the Iron Cavalry or cause them to self-destruct at an early stage by giving them fundamental lifespan issues in case of rebellion.
They were indoctrinated through education similar to brainwashing at an age equivalent to young boys and girls, then boarded mass-produced combat armor. They received orders telepathically from 'Titania,' who was unilaterally imprisoned by the Republic, and fought against the insect swarms for a 'non-existent' Empire, with countless numbers dying.
Despite their desperate struggle using such inhumane means, the Gramois Republic eventually fell. At some point, the truth of the Gramois 'Empire' was revealed to the Iron Cavalry. Whether the fall of Gramois was the result of Titania controlling the Iron Cavalry to rebel against the Republic, or if a member of the Iron Cavalry defied Titania's orders and rebelled, or if it was due to the insect swarms, is not definitively stated in the game.
The source of the Gramois Iron Cavalry's power was actually reproduction. In other words, the entire Iron Cavalry, including Bandai, were Path-Walkers of Reproduction. During the locust plague disaster, Bandai's (AR-26710) former colleague AR-214, who passed through Penacony, jumped into the fray to protect Penacony without asking for any reward. However, from that point on, the insect swarm attacks intensified in Penacony's good dreams, which had never been infiltrated by 'Reproduction' before. Upon learning this, 'Dream Master' Gopherwood shot down AR-214, but he had other intentions. He intended to use the Path of Reproduction to lay the foundation for an 'Eternal Paradise,' meaning he wanted to recreate the locust plague disaster and pressure people with fear, thus making them desire the return of the Aeon of 'Order.'
To this end, Gopherwood created the dream of a worm-eaten oak, imbued with the illusion of Reproduction, within the good dream, based on the power of 'Reproduction' recovered from AR-214's remains. He then split himself into four edicts, thus eliminating himself, the only potential flaw in his plan. Later, when another Iron Cavalry member arrived, he intended to instill a sense of crisis and survival instinct by showing them this illusion of Reproduction, thereby attempting to recreate the locust plague disaster. Indeed, an Iron Cavalry belonging to the Stellaron Hunters accidentally fell into this, and the locust plague disaster was momentarily recreated. However, in the end, that Iron Cavalry recovered the power of 'Reproduction' that became the source of the recreated locust plague and annihilated all the recreated insects through self-sacrifice, thus foiling Gopherwood's plan.

# Iron Cavalry
Then one day, knights in mechanical armor descended from the sky and annihilated the insects that had covered the world. From this point on, the Silver-White Iron Cavalry traversed the ravaged lands of the Empire's various planetary sectors, fighting against the catastrophe that had annihilated the galaxy. They were like warriors born to counter the insect swarms. No one knew the faces beneath the Iron Cavalry's masks, but their arrival brought light back to the sky like a divine grace. Under the command of the Empress, the Gramois Iron Legion raced through the skies, repelling enemies, and the Empire was able to catch its breath.

"Gramois Military Code"
Article 1, Knights shall feel glory in their birth.
Article 2, Do not let your guard down.
Article 4, Do not leave the cockpit without permission.
Article 8, Surviving knights shall return voluntarily.
Article 22, Knights shall dedicate everything to Her Majesty the Empress—even death=

# Stellaron Hunters
A reactionary group and a pan-galactic criminal organization.
Stellaron Hunters are recruited through a deal with 'Elio,' who can see future possibilities, and then, under Elio's command, they become a criminal organization that collects Stellarons across the universe by any means necessary. Elio does not reveal all information to the Hunters, stating that knowing too much about the future is also a variable, but even Kafka, who can control others with her words, strictly follows Elio's commands. Blade also retreated after revealing Dan Heng's true form, as per Elio's orders, without killing his sworn enemy, demonstrating the high loyalty of the organization's members.
Each member is strong enough to destroy a planet. This is due to their transcendent abilities, such as immortal bodies, mental manipulation through spoken words, hacking that can interfere with reality, and overwhelming planetary-scale power. Therefore, the bounties on playable characters belonging to the Stellaron Hunters exceed billions of credits, with no distinction between life and death.
All Stellaron Hunters are beings who walk the Path of 'The End.' However, like the Dramatic Extravaganza of Sorrow or the Doctor of Chaos, they seem to reject the Path of Fate they follow.

# Elio
Name: Elio
Alias: Slave to Fate, "The Script"
Affiliation: Stellaron Hunters
Path of Fate: "The End"
Bounty: Unknown
- The leader of the "Stellaron Hunters." Known as the "Slave to Fate." Possesses the ability/curse to see future possibilities.
- Can see future possibilities, from trivial matters to major ones. He is in an antagonistic relationship with Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, and is trying to raise the Trailblazer as a hero to stop him.
- All Stellaron Hunter members follow Elio because they made some kind of deal with him, and the details of that deal are only known to the parties involved. However, it seems that the members have no problem sharing their individual goals, as Sampo and Blade know each other's objectives.
- The only Stellaron Hunter who is a target for capture alive. All other subordinates are subject to capture dead or alive.

# Kafka
Name: Kafka
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Stellaron Hunters
Body: Approx. 170cm (height measured in Xianzhou Luofu including high heels)
Bounty: 10.899 billion credits
Appearance: Purple hair, purple eyes
- Her usual dead eyes are presumed to be lenses.
- She wears a coat draped over her shoulders and sunglasses on her forehead. The coat is not 'coat on shoulders' but a 'Hanging Sleeve' type, with holes in the armpit area of the coat through which her arms are passed.
- Her hobby is collecting velvet coats, claiming it's because they are delicate and beautiful and easily damaged with little carelessness.
- She has the ability to control targets as she wishes using spoken words, using the keyword "Listen carefully." She can also offset Blade's Mara-struck episodes with Kafka's suggestion. While it might be possible to resist Kafka's spoken words through self-harm or immense willpower, her spoken words are so powerful that only a handful of individuals can resist them.
- She hails from the planet Pteruges-V and is born without the emotion of fear. She appears to be a member of the Stellaron Hunters who corresponds to 'one who pursues fear.' According to Kafka, this planet was destroyed by Stellarons, and she regrets not being born during the period of ruin caused by Stellarons to witness the spectacle.
- As a prominent member and the oldest of the Stellaron Hunters, one of the most notorious and wanted criminal organizations in the entire universe, she possesses outstanding combat abilities, as well as the power of spoken words to manipulate others, and excellent strategic thinking.
- The scale of crimes committed by the Stellaron Hunters while securing Stellarons across the universe amounts to at least 47 categories. With Kafka at the center of these actions, her presence is undeniable, second only to Elio's, in the Stellaron Hunters.

# Silver Wolf
Name: Silver Wolf
Real Name: Unknown
Alias: LV.999
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Stellaron Hunters
Bounty: 5.1 billion credits → 6.1 billion credits
Appearance: Silver hair, ponytail, gray eyes
- Legally, she has no name. The name 'Silver Wolf' is actually a nickname, not her real name. Her place of origin is Punk Road.
- She joined the Stellaron Hunters after engaging in a hacking duel with Screwllum and holding her own, which caught Elio's eye.
- She is poor at interpersonal relationships and claims to have virtual friends. These are AI modules embedded in her weapons, appearing as small Silver Wolf figures. She has no real friends but pretends to have a professional team for her clients.
- The pistol she carries is named 'Prometheus.' Prometheus has four personalities installed, excluding one deleted personality. The names of each personality are "Friend," "Demon King," "Worker," and "Slave." The deleted personality was "Kindergarten Friend."
- Compared to her colleagues, her bounty is the lowest, but it is still an astronomical sum. She joined the organization the latest among the known Stellaron Hunters and has no recorded instances of harming civilians or guards, hence the relatively low bounty. Nevertheless, she supports the Stellaron Hunters from the rear and possesses terrifying abilities that can edit reality beyond simple hacking, resulting in her being subject to capture dead or alive with a bounty in the billions.
- Surprisingly, she is susceptible to motion sickness.
- Despite being a wanted criminal, she is obsessed with games and appears in various places more often than other Stellaron Hunters. The pinnacle of this is her participation in the Aether Battle hosted by the Starfaring Company, which placed a bounty on her head (…). However, she did not appear in person, but as a hologram under the alias 'Cyber Nomad.'

# Blade
Name: Blade
Real Name: Dan Feng
Gender: Male
Affiliation: Stellaron Hunters
Bounty: 8.13 billion credits
Appearance: Dark blue long hair, red eyes
- He has many scars on his body. Although he has an immortal body and his body slowly regenerates even when killed, he always wears bandages.
- The sword he uses is called the Starfall Sword. This was a sword Dan Feng forged himself and gifted to Jingliu. After the destruction of the Five Warriors of the Clouds, Jingliu killed Blade with this sword and taught him. When she killed him for the last time, the sword broke, and Jingliu left both the sword and Blade behind. After this incident, Jingliu reached the level of creating swords, and ironically, Blade was killed hundreds of times with the sword he made for Jingliu and ultimately uses that sword.
- As a sword craftsman, he had considerable dexterity. This applies only to his time as Dan Feng. Dan Feng was also the one who created the restraints for the prisoner Mirage, who summoned Mara and caused tens of thousands of Xianzhou people to fall into Mara by using the exocrine substance 'Jingyan' on Xianzhou. He also created the Golden Statues that protect Luofu, various intricate mechanisms, and even the weapons of the Five Warriors of the Clouds, all of which were Dan Feng's works. His fame and skill were so great that most of them are still in use without any problems. Thanks to these achievements, his alias during the Five Warriors of the Clouds era was 'Fleeting Meteor.' He surpassed his master Huiyan and even obtained the title of Bai Ye, the foremost expert of the Cloud-Riding Division, indicating his unparalleled forging skills within Xianzhou. However, as Blade, he has lost his dexterity due to memory and body problems caused by dying and reviving numerous times in his Mara-struck body.
- During his time as one of the Five Warriors of the Clouds, he had silver hair and, unlike his current hairstyle where his hair is loosely parted to the sides, he wore it neatly tied with a hairpin. He appeared as an older man, around middle age, and his eye color was closer to a bluish-cyan.
- His personality as Dan Feng and his current personality as Blade are completely different. While the current Blade is taciturn and almost emotionless, the Dan Feng of the past was a rather cheerful and lively old man.

Description

[Profile]
Name: Firefly
Real Name: AR-26710
Alias: Sam, Samuel
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Former Gramos Iron Cavalry, Stellaron Hunter
Bounty: 9.723 billion Credits
Appearance: Long, loose silver hair, dark brown cloth tied like a headband, navy blue ribbon with a wing ornament on the left side of her hair, sea blue and light pink gradient eyes, dark brown bolero jacket, teal and yellow gradient dress, yellow firefly attached to the back of her waist, black stockings, white boots adorned with teal lace.

As a member of the Stellaron Hunters, she engages in combat while piloting the mecha "Sam." She has a loyal and strong personality.
Born as a weapon to defeat swarms of insects, her growth rate is faster than that of ordinary people, but her lifespan is very short.
She joined the Stellaron Hunters to find an opportunity for "life" and is seeking a way to defy her fate.

- "Sam" is the name of the mecha Firefly pilots, an abbreviation for Strategic Assault Mech. Its model is the Firefly Type-IV.
- When Sam is activated, Firefly's clothes burn away, leaving her in a state of undress. When Sam is deactivated, she reappears fully clothed as if she had been wearing them all along. When she was part of the Iron Cavalry, she wore a bodysuit instead of her current casual attire.
- Firefly's mecha has a Full Burn mode, which is not a hidden function of the Iron Cavalry but a product of Firefly's strong will. The power of Full Burn mode is immense, capable of shattering an entire star, but it comes with significant risks, as indicated by the quote "Fireflies burn their lives... to emit the most brilliant light," the name "Full Burn," and Firefly's subsequent unconscious state after using this mode.
- Born as a weapon of the Gramos Empire, she suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification. Her structure is irreversibly and chronically deteriorating, causing her existence to slowly fade away until it eventually shatters into pieces. In other words, she has a terminal illness and a very short remaining lifespan. The reason she came to the Dreamscape is that she normally stays in a cold medical capsule, but in the Dreamscape, her body is not damaged, so she doesn't need to be in the capsule. Even though the Dreamscape is a place without death, if she dies from Entropy Loss Syndrome, both the Firefly in the Dreamscape and the real Firefly will shatter into pieces, meaning she will die completely even in the Dreamscape.

[Personality]
- Fundamentally, she has a kind and gentle personality. She is altruistic and good-hearted, but as someone from Gramos and a Stellaron Hunter, she strictly separates work and personal life. She shows a kind girl's demeanor to acquaintances but is ruthless towards enemies she meets in a professional capacity.
- Despite being born with a terminal illness and facing death at any moment, she possesses a strong will that refuses to succumb and chooses to live her life by her own volition. Notably, while other Stellaron Hunter members fully believe in and follow Elio's script, Firefly is the only one who directly rebels against it and attempts to act independently.
- Although a member of the Stellaron Hunters, her ideology aligns significantly with that of the Nameless. She strives to escape Elio's script and places great importance on individual free will and choice.
- Although born as a weapon, she harbors a desire to live as an ordinary girl, a wish she seems to have held since her Gramos days before becoming a Stellaron Hunter. Her long hair and hair tie are things she grew or obtained herself, inspired by ordinary girls of that era. Along with Kafka, she is the most interested in fashion among the Stellaron Hunters, which confirms this. She has also expressed a desire to go to school, further showing her admiration for ordinary girls.
- Like Kafka, she is good at lying. However, she shares a common trait with the Trailblazer of not hiding her expressions when talking to them. She dislikes lying as it is purely out of necessity and personally apologizes to the Trailblazer for deceiving them at the end of Penacony.
- Despite her delicate appearance, she surprisingly possesses a rather belligerent side. She often shows a preference for resolving issues through combat and seems to have a penchant for heavy firepower, as she considers baseball bats inefficient and is quite fond of Hanu's rocket launcher. This seems to be an inherent trait, as seen in Firefly's Stellaris Journey where she admires the Guardian mecha.
- On the other hand, she also has a somewhat eccentric side. As mentioned, her penchant for heavy firepower is one aspect, and the chuunibyou-esque lines she utters while piloting Sam are her own, which she even practices alone. She has even cooked meat for the Stellaron Hunters using Sam's flames. She also tried to make a cake for the Trailblazer with Sam's flames but ended up burning it several times.

[Combat Power]
- During her time with the Iron Cavalry, Firefly appears to have been a seasoned veteran soldier, though not necessarily an elite one. This can be inferred from her statement that long hair symbolizes experience and strength, the fact that her mecha is a mass-produced model, and the existence of Iron Cavalry superiors clearly above her.
- Her bounty as a Stellaron Hunter is 9.723 billion Credits, second only to Kafka's 10.899 billion Credits. Considering Kafka's high bounty is due to her role as Elio's right-hand person, carrying out the most missions (crimes), and her linguistic abilities being highly dangerous and versatile, it is natural that Sam, who has never failed a mission and possesses abilities specialized for mass destruction as part of the Gramos Iron Cavalry, ranks second. However, regardless of the bounty, there's an mention that Kafka, Blade, and Sam are all equally dangerous individuals, suggesting their actual combat power is on par.
- Furthermore, Firefly's strength doesn't seem to be limited to when she's piloting her mecha. Her response to the Trailblazer's question, "Can you catch a bullet?" with "It's not surprising" suggests that her physical body is also quite strong. As a genetically modified human created for combat, it's natural for her to possess significantly higher physical abilities than ordinary people.

[Other]
According to Silver Wolf, after visiting Penacony, she became obsessed with the Solglade CM song and sings it incessantly.

---

In a transparent incubation capsule, she was submerged in cold artificial amniotic fluid, encased in a white egg.
As the vessel shook, she instinctively moved towards the cold, soft edge, clinging to the wall and curling up. As if this would make her feel warmer.
She heard the sound of a large object falling, the clang of metal. Hurried footsteps echoed intermittently, and the incubation capsule began to shake...
"Warriors, it is time to awaken..."
"For the Empress..."
A pair of mechanical hands lifted her, and a blinding light tore through the world. She forgot how to cry.
"Be honored by your birth..."
"For the Empress..."
She opened her eyes but could not see who was speaking.
She stood up and walked through a thick curtain into the depths of the palace.
"Accept your glory and your destiny..."
"For the Empress..."
Uniform footsteps echoed in the empty palace.
She passed through a desolate and vast garden, past the carcass of a giant insect, through one incubation device after another... finally entering a luminous assembly hall. There, a woman with a blurred face sat on a throne, her hand hanging down as if weary.
"Do not raise your head."
Someone approached her and spoke softly. A tag on their body read AR-26702—What was that?
She looked at herself. AR-26710.
"Come here... my child..."
A distant voice echoed from deep within her heart. An unknown madness consumed her mind.
She approached, knelt, and kissed the Empress's fingertips.
The Empress's hand was as cold as ice, and she was momentarily dazed in her madness.
"Burn brightly for the future of Gramos..."
"For the Empress..."

---

From the depths of the starry sky, swarms of insects ascended. As usual, a sharp alarm interrupted their short respite.
She activated her mecha and entered combat readiness, but this time their momentum was unusually fierce.
"This... this is not a normal raid! This is an insect tide... an insect tide!"
The voice on the comms trembled slightly. More and more Iron Cavalry units soared into the sky, only to explode and become faint embers, swallowed by the darkness.
"Hold the defensive line and keep breaking through the encirclement!"
Countless Iron Cavalry units fell before her eyes.
Were any of them the ones who had spoken to her before? For the first time, she pondered this question.
—Are people originally different from each other?
Finally, a gap appeared in the insect swarm, and at the end of the gap, a queen insect slowly crawled out.
Like a beam of light, she pierced through the dense insect swarm and, along with other Iron Cavalry units, charged towards the mouth of the giant silver chipworm. Just before being devoured by the queen insect, she closed her eyes and detonated a bomb powerful enough to destroy a planet.
A blinding light erupted around the queen insect, and for a moment, everything fell silent.
She was flung away by the immense impact, like a kite with a severed string. As she plummeted to the ground, an unforgettable memory flashed before her eyes...
By a waterside where fireflies danced, she shed her mecha and reveled in the cool night breeze.
She watched a firefly land on the back of her hand and flutter its wings.
"...A humble life, yet more dazzling than the stars."
Darkness consumed her.
The remnants of the insect swarm and shattered armor turned to dust, piling up on the myriad stars like silent snow falling in the universe.

---

Waking from a coma, she found herself in an unfamiliar galaxy.
Luminous creatures floating in the galaxy were drawn to her, dancing around her.
She watched the floating creatures fly away into the distance, but she did not know where her own end lay.
"What is worth dying for?"
"What is worth living for?"
Dreams were still too far away for her. She stared blankly into the endless darkness but could find no answer.
...
"And so, the Gramos Republic fell, leaving only rumors of the Iron Legion."
Her mecha was detected by something, and she began to be wary.
"To control the Republic's ultimate weapon, the Iron Cavalry are all genetically engineered infants. Those children possess congenital defects that accelerate aging and death at some point in their lives..."
The footsteps grew closer, and the woman's voice became clearer.
"A predetermined end... similar to ours, wouldn't you agree?"
The spaceship door opened.
Flames erupted from her body, and the mecha of the Flame Knight began to form.
"Who are you?"
The woman smiled as if meeting an old friend after a long time.
"Do you believe in fate? Those who walk the same path will eventually meet somewhere. We have now... met."

---

On another quiet night, she sat in her usual high place, watching the lanterns extinguish and relight, and ships come and go from the sky docks until dawn.
Silver Wolf walked over, yawning.
"Can't sleep?" She shifted to make room for her.
"I had a strange dream. A digital demon invaded Punk Road, and I ran around sticking viruses with bubblegum before I woke up."
"A dream..."
"Are you going to Penacony?"
"Yes. My dream... might be there."
"But for someone who cannot dream to enter a synesthetic dream world requires a price equivalent to 'death.'"
"I know. My consciousness will be crushed by the weight of memory material and must be reconstructed through special means to enter the dream realm... But I am not afraid of death at all. I am already used to it."
"...Sigh, alright. Then I wish you luck. And give my regards to the Astral Express."
...
She arrived at the edge of the Asdana Galaxy. The sea of memories churned with colossal waves, and she was like a flickering flame in the storm, about to be extinguished at any moment.
She leaped and plunged into the realm of memories.
Pressure surged from all sides, her vision gradually blurred, and her body uncontrollably fell into the depths of the memory realm.
Emotions hidden within the dense memory material whispered in her ears like apparitions.
-- "Burn brightly for the future of Gramos..."
-- "For the Empress..."
-- "A humble life, yet more dazzling than the stars..."
-- "What is worth dying for?"
-- "What is worth living for?"
...
After an unknown amount of time, the violently surging memory material subsided.
When she opened her eyes, Penacony shimmered with a faint, pearlescent light. Tears streamed down her cheeks--
"Is this... a dream?"
