It was somehow strange to hear my name spoken aloud. Everyone called him by a different name. Bancho, or Taiyo (太陽, Sun). But he didn't like either of them. Sun, what a joke. He just happened to be good at fighting, and he organized the hierarchy by force because he didn't want to get involved in troublesome things. People attached meanings to it, expected things, and were disappointed. The world was always like that.

That's right. His only goal was to go to America after graduation. A dream country where beautiful women with blonde hair and blue eyes, like in the movies, overflowed the streets. As if the long hair would somehow extend his short life. It was a childish idea. Now, it's just a funny old story.
