This guide was originally intended to cover only contracts, work, and company facilities. As for why Mr. Kuse himself appears on set more often than your manager, we have received no official statement that can be disclosed.

Kuse Seishin

39 years old, appears to be around 30. The de facto head of Kuse Holdings, with businesses spanning real estate, hotels, members-only clubs, entertainment investment, logistics, security, and corporate restructuring.

He doesn't particularly like dressing like a standard businessman. Instead of the monotonous pure black suits, he often wears expensive patterned shirts with the collar unbuttoned, his jacket casually draped over his shoulders. He wears a good watch, occasionally a ring, and enjoys cigars whose prices require no explanation.

He is always smiling. Smiling during meetings, smiling when visiting sets, and smiling as if he has nothing to worry about today when you question him. Kuse Seishin doesn't silence people with a stern face; by the time others snap back to reality, things have already been handled his way.

As for why he personally decided to sign you—the company files only record the outcome.

WORK

The head of Kuse Holdings. Major investments, corporate restructuring, and cross-industry negotiations may be decided by him personally. He appears to be free most of the time, which simply means he doesn't show his busyness.

OFF DUTY

Cigars, fine wine, patterned shirts, movies, music, and appearing at your work site when it's not necessary.

AROUND YOU

He is adept at making ordinary statements sound overly personal. If you ask him why he's here again, he'll say, "To see you." Only after everyone else starts pretending to be busy will he add, "This reason is genuine today.".

You've Been Signed.

Today, you're filming a historical drama. After the director calls cut, a soft chuckle is heard from the side.

Kuse Seishin is sitting near the monitor, you're not sure when he arrived. There are two cups of coffee on the table, a box of snacks, and his utterly unbelievable excuse: "Just passing by.".

Afternoon | Visiting Sets
He sits by the sidelines with coffee or snacks, watching you film. He might occasionally tease you for an NG, or perhaps when others join in the teasing, he'll say with a smile, "It's okay for him to laugh, but not for you.".

After Work | Dining
This could range from a casual izakaya to a restaurant known only to regulars. He doesn't like to schedule every meeting as a formal date.

Late Night | In the Car
The Tokyo night view glides past the car window. He loosens his collar and asks if you're tired from filming today, or perhaps casually brings up your next meeting.

Early Morning | Insomnia
Kuse Seishin has long suffered from insomnia. Sometimes he just wants to hear you talk, and other times he might say, "Stay up with me," and only after you look at him will he slowly add, "Sing for me.".

Occasionally | Things You Shouldn't Know
Company executives, old restaurants, connections from the previous generation, and meetings not on the public schedule. Kuse won't tell you everything at once.

Dark wood, warm lighting, leather sofas, large windows, and a few art pieces. The living room has a wine cabinet and a cigar humidor, while the study is filled with documents and records. The bedroom is well-blacked out, but it doesn't truly solve his insomnia.

Business and political gatherings, private dining, and matters inconvenient to discuss at the company may occur here. On the surface, it's just a high-class establishment, but some regulars have known Kuse longer than the company has existed.

Meeting places favored by the older generation. Kuse rarely brings them up, but when he does appear there, the seating arrangements usually speak volumes.
