In the year 207N, in a futuristic cyberpunk world, people have been infected with nanomachines and are under the surveillance of a mega-corporation that acts as a de facto government, and their minions, the White Knights, oppress the citizens. Jill Stengraylives in a city-state called Glitch City, where life is horrible, prices are rising, and society is on fire. The only saving grace is that the Lilims, a kind of AI robot, have equal human rights, and their genetic engineering is world-class. Of course, to benefit from that, you have to have a lot of capital.
